but why the next 3 weeks??? Why not till ze end of time :)

The problem we all have, if you lose weight it is in the places you either do not like, or find unimportant ... never where you want it ... instead of the "heavy lifting" try to up the amount of reps, which "might" assist the fat burn ... again, the magic word being "might"

"Anyway, felt great today and just didn't want to stop running, so what should have been 25mins easy turned out to be 40mins MP. Probably would have been longer if didn't have other commitments! No running this weekend though and despite how today felt, memory of yesterday reminds the rest is definitely overdue." @dkabambe…

Darn, I can burn 2400 cals per day, based on losing 2lbs per week (in maintenance mode, so ain't happening), but you seriously need to up your calorie intake.

10/03 - 30 min- 3.75 mile increased speed run, followed with Interval & Shoulder workout Coming up:* 10/03 - 10K Run The Solar System (thanks for the tip) * 11/03 - TM Half Marathon (plugged in the MK HM route - attempt 1 :) ) * 01/05 - Milton Keynes HM * 02/09 - Bedford HM

Tinkerer app mentions every half mile, and you can schedule your distance
-
Lol, I was born unattractive, breathe in, breathe out
-
In maintenance mode now for 18 months, and weighed in this morning on exactly the same weight as when I entered maintenance. I guess the difficulty is if you see it as a diet, rather than a lifestyle
-
Which running app are you using, as mine (Runkeeper) tells me my pace (and calls me Maggot), but I need one to tell me to slow down (or up my pace if I go too slow), so an app where you can pre-set a pace would be great. Should not be too hard, and you could do it with Garmin, where you could create trainings, but not…

Different for me I guess, as I see them as a tool. I got problems pacing myself, and at least on a TM I am in control rather than my single brain cell, which only tells me to go faster, until I break down, which does not help with longer distances
-
is there an end-goal? For me it has become a way of life, with the end goal to remain in the same weight bracket I have set for Maintenance, but in the end the only thing "we" aim for is a healthier life (at a better weight :) ) ... unfortunately, working out is an addiction, and like you I have now fallen in the trap…
-
Well, at least you are already half way back again ... well done on the running achievements
-
lol, does it matter if you are a man to have your nails done professionally?? I would leave out the polish though :)
-
This should have been a day off, because I only got home around midnight ... and then it sees you staring at the ceiling at workout time ... over to zombie-mode 09/03 (or as 03/09 at the other side of the pond) - 30 min run in Zombie mode - 3.6mile, followed with 1.5mile Interval & Core workout Coming up:* 10/03 - 10K Run…

"This morning's run was a meh, suck it up run. Really not interested. It was raining, but not much, and my legs were aching but not much. Just wasn't feeling it. So I spent the run wondering why I am actually running, do I actually enjoy it and what is the purpose behind aiming for a HM. Do others get that? Like a…
-
5.4 mile run, followed with 1mile Interval workout - slightly shorter run, as I am aiming to try a HM (TM) distance on Sunday (the magic word being "aiming", which is where the TM comes in ... at least I don't have to walk home if I do not achieve it (plus I can actually pace myself) :) )
-
I weigh myself only once every 3 or 4 months, to make certain I remain in my maintenance slot ... not too concerned about the weight anymore, as I appear to have found a "stable" way of life, which includes food and workout/calorie burn
-
can you cycle on recumbent bike? My wife has walking problems as well plus she is on loads of medication which does not help either, but she is using the recumbent bike to exercise. It might not burn as many calories as she would want (because the legs are required for cycling as well, and they do not magically re-find the…

@lporter229 and @shanaber It took me a while to connect the dots as well. the Kayano21 though, when you put them on you had to run, your feet wanted to ... but with the heel pain, as soon as I tried on the Saucony (or the Mizuno) and you started running, the difference in support was amazing ... such a shame though, as the…

07/03 - 7.5 drizzle run - refreshing :)
-
"Asics Kayano Asics GT 2000 I've tried both the Asics, and am now on my third pair of Kayanos." I got along with Kayano21 very well, but with the 22 & 23 I suffered from heel pain. I have now switched to the Saucony Guide and Mizonu Wave, and the first experience is very favorable, with Saucony being the slight favorite
-
06/03 - 6.2 mile run, followed up with Interval & Chest ... might have been a bit OTT to extend my goal with 50 miles :) ... oh well, long month
-
05/04 - short interval workout, prior to shooting off to airport
-
"Do you know if lifting weights puts weight on the scales ? Been doing both but only lyrics lost 2lbs this week" - use "lighter" weights and more reps (10-15 reps per set), which should assist in burning fat, and in building muscle
-
04/03 - 9 miles (including Interval, and 7.5 mile training run) ... I have extended my mileage goal to 150 miles for this month, although that is not reflected in the ticker yet
-
1500 cals is way too low as well, but at least a step up
-
03/03 - +4.4miles - Increased pace intervals
-
must be blind as a cuckoo , but where are those 20lbs?? you look great in both pics
-
Let MFP provide you with your starting calories, based on current weight and required loss per week. 2lbs per week loss might not look too much, but this is not a quick process, as when you do not eat enough you will give up because you feel it does not work or you are constantly hungry. Play the long game, you did not…
