I do both ADF and calorie count. Eating days I eat 1420, fasting 355. When I get to my goal I will try to stop counting calories on eating days and do a true fast on fasting days. Im hoping that Ill be able to eat whatever I want if I just keep up the fasting days.

ADF is not extreme. Most of us use the modified version which allows you to eat 25% of your calories on the fasting day. I work full time, raise my child, and run my home all on fasting days with no problems. I even have no problem when I eat nothing on my fasting days. It is very possible and not that hard to lose 4 pounds in a week. Limit carbs to 30 grams or less per meal. Make sure to balance those carbs with protein. 15 grams carbs with 7 grams protein. Eat only twice a day. Eat half the amount you normally would. Good luck.

I have PCOS. The best diet for me is the insulin resistance diet. For every 15 grams of carbs eat 7 grams of protein. No more than 30 grams of carbs per meal. It works and I can eat anything I want.

Drink when you're thirsty. That's what thirst is for. Drinking water does not burn fat or calories. My doctor told me all this excessive water drinking That's popular now is ridiculous. Besides, we aren't suppose to eat when we aren't hungry, right? So why drink half your body weight when you're not thirsty?

I think you should consult a nutritionist rather than the people on this forum. Everyone is different. 1530 calories for me would make me gain.

Pickle and mayo sandwiches, pickles and potato chips, popcorn and cheese ( won't eat popcorn without it), mayo with fries, and eggs with cheese and catsup. My son loves popcorn with catsup.

Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches! My fave is the Canadian bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin. 220 calories and very tasty. I put it in the microwave for a minute and eat it in the car on the way to work. Very easy and I look forward to it every day.
