It does make a huge difference. Especially closer to your ideal weight, it can potentially add more facial definition (in my experience). At heavier weights, it should be enough for others to notice, even if you don't.

Funnily enough, when I first saw the thread title, I thought you meant 'unclean' in a Biblical sense. Anyway, like others mentioned, a nutritionist would be a great resource for you! I, too, worry about counting calories and eating healthy; however, I do not let it get in the way of a social life. I still go out to…

Isn't sex enough of a motivation? I don't mean to sound rude, but losing excess weight goes a long way in every aspect of life.

I used to have a hard time controlling myself with sweet stuff, too. I got it under control by eating in moderation. From time to time, I crave a little chocolate, so I just get a small 50-Calorie piece that I keep in a specific location. As long as it fits into my diet and is consumed in moderation, then it should be…

From personal experience, I'd say it's better to focus on weight loss without worrying too much about getting muscle mass. Just be sure to do calisthenics or weight lifting.

I stay away from soda period... There's a ton of sodium in diet soda.

Water. Occasionally I drink green tea (brewed from tea bags you can find at most Asian supermarkets) with nothing added to it, or I drink coffee black with a few packets of Splenda.

Maybe someone could just invent a machine like the one in Elysium that, rather than just cure cancer or a gaping hole in the face, rebuild a fat person at the molecular level so they are skinny. That way we could just eat whatever we want without consequences. ;)

I used to eat fast food regularly. A typical meal was mozzarella sticks/fries, a sandwich, and a soda. I also got to the point where I'd drink tons of sugary coffee drinks (Monster) because I was constantly studying in college. Snack-wise, I think my greatest weaknesses were potato chips and peanut butter/jelly mixed…

I typically eat 1000 mg more sodium than I should. It's because I eat a lot of frozen meals (something I need to avoid, really, despite the convenience of everything already being portioned out). However, it doesn't really seem to have caused any health problems (no problems with blood pressure, etc.). One of the reasons…

Feel free to add me. It may look like I eat a lot (1700-2000 kcal/day), but I burn a lot of that through exercise and have been losing a steady 2 lbs/week... A lot of the food I eat is really healthy, so it should give you an idea of what you can do.

It's not so much a "last meal" in the sense that you mean, per se, but I never eat fast food anymore. It's not because I am trying to deprive myself of it, but more the fact that I get ill from eating that sort of food. It's still important to eat something you enjoy, though. Just do it in moderation.

I haven't lost all my weight yet (about halfway to my weight goal) but a few things I've noticed: -Less lower back pain from standing up or even sitting down -No moisture outline of my butt after sitting down on a plastic chair (sitting down is also painful after a little while because of less padding from fat) -More…

Hey, I'm 22 years old, male, and 5'6". I started losing weight (starting 308 lbs) towards the end of last summer and am now 5-6 months into my weight loss. Currently I'm at 230 lbs and have been losing a steady 1-2 lbs (probably a little closer to 1.5-1.7 lbs/week) weekly despite losing 2-4 lbs weekly (sometimes I'd lose…
