I do enjoy hiking, although right now, until I get my endurance back, short hikes. I love nature and looking for wildflowers.

I need all the help I can get! 100 lbs overweight with a myriad of health issues. Right now my motivation is that if I don't lose about 20 lbs I won't be eligible for my employers healthy weight credit. Let's motivate each other!

I am starting over again too. Was doing so good with walking for a while and now I've been so lazy. Good luck to you. Even exercise in small doses works.

I've had mine just over a year. Barely do 5000 steps a day due to my sedentary job, but I'm working on getting more exercise in my day.

I also wear a Garmin VivoFit and have trouble getting over 5000 steps a day. If it's quiet at night or weekends, I do laps around the waiting room and 2 hallways, but I can't stray too far from my desk or phone.

I work 8 am - 7 pm or later. Very sedentary job, so I have having issues figuring out when/how to work in some exercise. I'm tough to get out of bed earlier in the morning, but I'm trying to get up earlier. Any suggestions are great.

I do take a medicine to coat the stomach. Right now the list of foods I can eat is short. I am pretty much limited to water for drinks. I also take Omeprozal. I appreciate the responses.

I have a Garmin Vivofit. I do like it, except that my job is mostly stationary and I don't always have the luxury of getting up and moving for a few minutes.

Sweets for sure. Sometimes tortilla chips. Veggies will never be one of those irresistible things for me.

You are worth it, we all are. Sometimes, I have to fight with my feelings of inadequacy. I have been having lots of stomach issues from gastritis so I have had to cut out some of my favorite foods: green tea, soda, fried foods and alcohol. I have about 100 lbs to lose. Chris, I understand. I am just shy of 300 lbs. every time I go to the doctor a new health problem crops up. Need to make some serious changes.

I am addicted to sugar as well. I do have over 100 lbs to lose. I have been having some major problems with my stomach: gastritis, so I have been forced to cut out soda, green tea, alcohol and popcorn. Feel free to add me too.
