Way to go chamblisk! What a great feeling when you can get into a piece of clothing that previously did not fit. :D

I am also from Canada chamblisk...born and raised in northern eastern Ontario although my parents and siblings are all in southern Ontario now. I have been in southern Manitoba for the past 21 years, considered part of the Canadian prairies. Brandon is a city of about 47,000 so I am close to just about everything. We are…

I had the same issues this weekend chamblisk. Had a 2 1/2 hour drive to my daughters, spent the weekend babysitting my grandkids while they had a tournament. One is 4 months and one is 11 years old so no real exercise there. Lots of sitting in the car and lots of cuddling. What I did do was bring a few of my go to snacks,…

I have so been there kheinl. I have had back issues since 1989 and had 2 back surgeries, one in 2004 which was planned and an emergency one in 2011. My routine now to avoid a third surgery is to do physio stretches daily, these truly do help and I notice how tight my back muscles are when I miss. I also go to physio…

It was a coworker's birthday on Friday and a chocolate cake was brought in...chocolate!!!!! I decided to have a small piece but put it in my tracker right away and then planned the rest of my day with what I had left. I stayed within calorie goals that day! So proud of myself! This is my ultimate goal...live and enjoy but…

Isn't it a good feeling when you stick to the plan! Way to avoid temptation bethlauren!

Way to go poutchikins sounds like an awesome meal ! Love the name by the way!

I would leave it alone so I would not be tempted to eat more...I try hard not to eat the calories I burn in hopes of losing more. That's my plan. :)
-
kheinl thanks for sharing the sugar free caramels tip...will look for those the next time I am out grocery shopping.

Mine are chocolate, cheesecake, chips and cheezies. Evenings are the worst for snacking. Living alone is hard and loneliness and boredom are hard for me when it comes to will power. Trying to keep lots of visuals around as reminders of why I started this journey.

Excited this morning...I thought if I lost 10 lbs or so my dress would fit much better...well I'm down 5.2 to date so halfway there! I tell you though, it's is much harder to lose 10 lbs these days but I have to remember that it took 4 1/2 years to put this 60 lbs on so I can't expect it do disappear quickly.

I am also staying on...I enjoy reading everyone's posts and look forward to them. I live on my own and don't enjoy cooking for one so today I am going to cook up some vegetables, chicken and a small roast so that I have meals for the week. This way I won't be tempted to grab fast food on my way home. The reason I kick…

Kheinl...those eggs in a basket sound great! Will have to try them...need to go looking for hashbrowns as well.
-
That's me too kheinl....I have all the sizes down to my goal weight as I was there in 2010. Let's do it...one size at a time!! Make sure you pick a favorite as that is an even greater incentive!

I purchased a dress in Las Vegas a year and a half ago to wear at our annual President's Dinner last year. I was sick with a bad cold and did not attend. Decided to wear it this year and when I tried it on it fit but not very well. My first goal is to be able to wear it on Feb. 26th so I have it hanging beside my treadmill…

I had a sweet craving this past weekend so when doing groceries I purchased a single piece of cheesecake which was 260 calories...it was a smaller piece than I would normally have eaten but since it is my favorite dessert I enjoyed every mouthful, it satisfied my craving and was within my daily calorie count! A + all…

Way to go T!

I checked them out too and it looks like they are available in Canada...just need to find out where and if it's not close I can place an order. Need to spend more time on the site as well to see all they offer.
-
Now I'm curious about these items...going to see if they are available in Canada!!!

I'm excited about my day and have to share. We are having our Annual General Meeting for Shareholders at 7:30 p.m. tonight and the staff decided to go our for dinner and drinks after work as 3 of them live out of town and did not want to go home in between the meeting and work. Well, I declined and came home, walked my 30…

I walk on the treadmill. Exercise is something I don't enjoy much so I have strategically stationed the treadmill facing the television, chose one of my favorite programs and watch as I walk. Amazing how quickly the time goes by. I also plan on it as soon as I get home from work so that I get it out of the way, otherwise,…

I have also had a great day. My goal is to lose, a minimum the 60 lbs I had lost and put back on over the last 4 1/2 years. I did not get to walk on the treadmill today but was out shopping for 2 hours so I figure that's a good 30 minutes at 2.0 mph. I was within my calories but over in sodium...there seems to be sodium…

A favorite of mine in the evening is also a cup of decaf chai tea made with unsweetened almond or almond coconut milk.
-
I make sure I save calories for an evening snack. I will definitely look for coconut ice cream...thanks for the tip!!! I'm not sure where I would find the sauce in Canada but will look for some. If not will find something.

I live alone struggle with not being accountable to anyone. Evening snacking is my worst. My reason for joining this group! :D I also work with younger staff who are always going out for lunch or bringing food in. I decided to come home and spend my lunch hour with my dog so I am not tempted with what they have. I also…

Weather chat is making me anxious for summer! I live in a city in the province of Manitoba in Canada and it's cold and the snow is still here. Thankful for my treadmill.
