I have frozen almond milk in ice cube trays. I put plastic wrap over it so it doesn't absorb any odd flavors. They melt pretty quickly when just set in a cup on the counter, or you can run hot water over the cup while you seal it with your hand to speed up melting.

One thing I found helpful was to make sure I was getting enough calcium/magnesium, vitamin C, potassium and iron. I take these supplements daily, not just during my period (except the potassium-I just eat a banana every day the week before my period and during the week of my period). I'm not saying my cravings are gone…
