Getting started is always the hardest part for me, but then when I start seeing results it helps me to stay motivated. Also, making small goals and then trying to reach those before setting more can be helpful.

I usually eat something about an hour before I workout, and then have a protein shake with my post workout in it right after I am finished working out.

If you are toning up and losing inches, then you are gaining muscle. Since muscle weighs more than fat the scale may not be moving, but it is still a good thing!

I try to eat as clean as possible, and when I do cheat I definitely feel worse. As other posts have said, it does get easier once you have been doing it for a while and you stop craving those foods.

Supplements are great if you have hit a plateau and need that extra help, but finding the right ones is key. Personally I can't workout without my pre-workout, I use Cellucor and so far so good. I used to be very active when I was younger, and now that I am older and have started gaining weight I wanted to get back into shape again. I went through a breakup and it motivated me to take that time to focus on myself.
