  • Because they are located in Maui and their ambassadors and athletes get to go out there to compete. I am broke so I can't buy a lot supplements, which is another reason I am looking to be an Ambassador - to get free stuff! I just wasn't sure if it REALLY mattered if I had tried them, I feel like a lot of companies let just…
  • Who doesn't love some ice cream? So here is a link i found to where you can get some free ice cream this weekend if you wanna be bad, as well as a recipe for some of that "nice cream" that @planetfatty mentioned if you wanna be good ;)
  • I would say HIIT is a good option because it offers quick results and you don't need a lot of equipment.
  • Some of these are pretty funny :D
  • Without knowing how much you weigh and what you are doing it would be hard to say how much you could lose by then. This is good advice for doing what you can to reach your goal, I would just be sure to add some extra cardio in there as well.
  • It is hard to trust reviews for anything these days...
  • I have wondered about this myself!
  • This seems like it would be a pretty extreme case to me, especially if we are talking about supplements and not prescription pills.....
  • Well said. There are some good ones out there, but also you still need to be doing everything else with them. They will not do the work for you, and you need to be cautious about the ingredients in them.
  • Do classes instead of the gym. My gf doesn't really care for the gym, so she takes a bunch of different classes with some pass thing she has now and then comes to the gym with me still sometimes when I drag her.
  • Nothing worth having comes easy
  • As shown by others here, weights are not necessary to be in shape, and some people find weight training boring. I suggest doing something that you enjoy whatever you decide, because you are more likely to stick to it. Also, who does not want to enjoy what they do to workout?
  • I usually just have a protein shake after I workout, but my girlfriend has been wanting to try taking something specifically for recovery. I have used some of their stuff in the past and liked it, I will have to look into it.
  • What is even crazier to me about this besides the fact that it even exists, is that this article has a place for you to sign up for the "trial." Ummm even if eating *kitten* were proven beyond a doubt to make me lose weight, that would still be a really hard pill for me to swallow (literally). Who in their right mind would…
  • Good point! I have used them with a lot of success in the past, but you need to manage your expectations and you still do have to put in work yourself. No such thing as a magic pill.
  • How much magnesium are you taking? Along with recovery, it can aid in producing more restful and deep sleep and most people do not get nearly enough, even with supplements. I have trouble sleeping and when I was on a higher dose there were mornings I actually slept through my alarm - which has NEVER happened to me!
  • These tips are good, but more apply to things you can control in your home. When it comes to people bringing treats into my work, I just say no to all of them so I am not tempted to have just one here and there, and then another and another....people have stopped offering me things now because they know my "policy."
  • I make something like this, but these sound better than mine. I'll have to try, thanks!
  • This is one I like. It is simple, but good flavors: 100g baby spinach leaves 2 oranges, peeled, halved, thinly sliced 50g macadamia nuts, toasted, chopped 100g marinated goat's feta*, drained 2 tablespoons lime-infused olive oil*, or olive oil
  • You can look up stretches or yoga moves to help with your soreness. I also like foam rollers, but be sure that you are using one correctly, or it can make things worse.
  • Hi Wendy, congrats on taking the first step! Gettin started and finding the motivation to actually go to the gym is the hardest part. I just find that when it comes to actually exercising, I could use a little help to get through my workouts. I have tried a lot of preworkout powders, but like you said a lot of them made me…
  • This is simply not true that celiac people are the only ones affected by gluten. When my GF gets ill from eating something that has gluten in it, without knowing it, how can that possibly be a placebo affect? The most recent studies are showing that there is a protein that exists in some people more than others that can be…
  • I don't weigh myself very often, and prefer to go by measurements and pics to see my progress. If you are weighing yourself frequently it can be discouraging if the number on the scale is not moving, but if you are exercising you can still be losing fat. This article is great for help with tracking your progress:…
  • I have been having some trouble staying focused on my goals starting out the new year. I have come a long way, but I still want to keep being better, and not get complacent. I found this article to be helpful https://www.myliporidex.com/blog/how_to_set_your_goals_and_stay_motivated/
  • Have you ever thought about trying a preworkout supplement? Now it is a habit for me to exercise, but in the beginning I really needed a push and taking something for energy really helped me.
  • I used to struggle with this a lot, but I have found a few things that helped me. One big thing was cutting out sugar and other foods that would cause my cravings during the day, which helps me at night. For me, it seems the less sugar I eat, the less I want. Also, I started using an appetite suppressant without any…
  • Dunno about the Liporidex, but Elite Hardcore is pretty weaksauce. I can barely feel it. You should check out syndedrex. It really curbs my appetite and you really feel it. I take one pill and sometimes will feel my heart racing within a few minutes. Appetite suppression lasts about 3-4 hours too. good stuff.
  • C4 Extreme was a bit too much for me. I want a nice pump, but not something where my heart is beating out of my chest!
  • A lot of times there will be free or donation based yoga classes offered at local studios once a week. Check around and see what's available in your area!
