I've had so many problems with fitbit that I'm about ready to trash it. I have the flex and originally set it up on my iPad. I couldn't get it to connect to MFP and it was completely off with my steps and distance--walking the dog over a route measured with car speedometer at .4 miles, fitbit would give me about 350 steps…

The cost and opportunities would vary greatly depending on where you live but I find the other points easy to overcome. I avoid changing at the pool by going in my swim attire under a coverup, shorts/pants and a shirt that just need to be quickly removed. Similarly, if the showers there are busy or unpleasant, I just drive…

I take it that you are trying to gain rather than lose weight and that you don't have a workplace cafeteria. You might try bringing your lunch. Perhaps a meat and cheese sandwich, some crudities, fruit for lunch or a good sized salad incorporating some meat, cheese, nuts. For breaks the nuts, shakes, perhaps some yogurt,…

Congratulations! I'd keep logging. :)

Feel free to add me and perhaps we can support to one another. Reaching my goal will probably take more than a year. I, too, started over in late January after maxing out and developing some related health problems. I have a torn meniscus in left knee and back problems that limit exercise possibilities and some food…

Congratulations! You are a fine example. :D I hope that I can emulate your loss during my first year. Down almost 10 lbs. first month.

I keep sugar free popsicles in the freezer for such times--15 calories a pop and 1 or 2 works for me.

I'm new to myfitness. Regarding calories I'll share some tips that work for me. I have found a tasty 0 calorie raspberry salad dressing, Waldens which I find at Sprouts. I also use lemon or lime juice in lieu of salad dressing. I also use a lot of herbs for taste but few calories. When I buy snacks I try to immediately…
