  • I am also lactose intolerant. I drink Almond Milk with Warrior Blend Vanilla Protein Powder. It is Vegan but still has the amino acids that dairy protein powders have (ie whey etc). Otherwise Eggs are my go to protein choice.
  • Thank you everyone for the comments! It keeps me feeling normal. I am going to try deadlifts along with the dry brush. I have heard of it but haven't tried it yet.
  • Is there a row machine in your gym. This gives you a good workout and very light on your knees. Trying interval challenges to increase the heart rate on the row machine!
  • I found dairy bloats me too...any dairy so I stick to Almond milk only. They make almond cheese too at specialty stores. I really enjoy hummus with peppers for my snack. If I want something sweet I go for apples or banana with Peanut Butter powder sprinkled on them. I try to only do the fruits in the mornings as well.
  • Watching the carb intake has definitely helped me but there are still foods that will get eaten even when not hungry. I take what I normally would then cut it half and take one half and instantly ruin it (tobacco sauce on it, let the dog eat it and so on). I know this is good waste which bothers me too.   • I absolutely love incline exercising! I have been a runner for most of my life but it is very hard on my knees now. I have taken up Spin and incline walks as the replacement then run once a week (intervals for better results). Here is my favorite incline workout so far Keep up the good work.
  • Good luck! I moved to Fl about 2 years ago and found out quickly a bikini body is harder to keep than I thought. I am hoping to lose 10 but tone considerably. I realize that the toning may hinder all 10 pounds beig lost since muscle is heavier.
