We have scones. But they are sweeter. Our biscuits are more like scones.

In the US we have jam and jelly they are two separate spreads. Jam has seeds made from strawberry, blackberry ect. Jelly is smooth and usually grapes or plumbs. We are very technical with food and names here. Lol

I count because mfp works off a NEAT system. My calorie goals are set low 1200 calories. That I track with a scale. I have not bought a device yet so I usually track shopping as a leasurely walk. This way I can keep track of my activity during the day. I don't eat back calories but it keeps me accountable for my activity…

This was a great idea back in the day when most people got up and plowed fields all day. but for most people these days it's not necessary.

Is it just me? Or a lot of people seem to be over doing it. Our bodies need rest, 7 days of 50 mile cycling and 7 mile runs will take s toll. And it's usually a permanent one.

mfp is very generous. although its program of logging everything is proven to work. so i go with what it tells me. i have goals set for 2# loss a week. I don't eat back all my exercise calories. but a good many of them. doing this i have lost 20# in just over 2 months.

is there a reason you need to go to the gym? maybe its not for you. that's ok find a different way to workout.. I understand the whole anxiety thing which is the same reason i don't belong to a gym... not the end all in fitness..

I started 6 weeks ago walking a leisurely mile with kids to park. and have worked up to elliptical for 30/45 minutes a day and walking 3 miles at a brisk pace everyday. I usually take the weekend off on elliptical unless I have a cheat day on my diet.

I have 4 kids and husband too. my grocery bill has gone down since eating healthy. remember popcorn is cheap and a satisfying snack. buy in season. and things like carrots celery, broccoli. are. pretty cheap year round.

I don't think it helps with fast loss but it will give you the craps. Especially taken with coffee.

All the time. I eat light during the day cuz I am a night eater. After exercise I have a lot left to eat. But I think it all balances out. Or save for something special during the week. I went to the movies with kiddos today and went over a bit. Ok cuz I know I will be under tomorrow. I work 16 hr shifts on the weekends…

Ahhh... lent well I think I need to quit smoking so I better get some patches. Makes no sense to loose all this weight to get lung cancer and die anyway

Me too! My skin cleared up in just a few days of watching what I eat. And so much more energy!
