From what I have read previously on here, people tend to advise eating back half of your workout calories.

I just use runtastic on my phone for running and the in built app to track my steps. Works fine for me. Battery life can become a bit of an issue.

yeah I have combining running and doing strength work as I do all my running outside so I will go for a run and then go to the gym.

I used to go hill walking a lot when I lived in the UK and when I am back in the summer we will go for a walk in the Peak District on one of our old walks and see if we find it any easier!

I just got to the point where enough was enough. I had friends who had lost weight and seemed happier and healthier. I just always accepted that I was stocky and that was that. thanks guys. I don't mind a slight increase in weight it is for muscle gain. Only going to have one a day just to increase my protein levels. I have been eating more protein in my diet recently and feel a lot better for it.

I like to do a early morning run as well. I tend to leave my house between 5.45am and 6am. I go to my local park where there is a mile running track so there are other crazy people there as well. I think the only reason is that because everything I am eating is just packed full of nutrients so my body is getting most of what it needs. I think that could really help as currently all I drink during the week is water and green tea. The only exception is at weekend when I have some beer.

just out of curiosity, if I didn't increase my daily intake by enough then what implication would this have on my weight and health. Just worried that if I start eating lots more calories I will either stop loosing weight or perhaps even put weight on.
