I'm on 1200 at the moment. Cereal for breakfast, soup for lunch, an ordinary chocolate bar for a snack and correct portion size dinner. I drink plenty of water and have several cups of tea throughout the day as I find tea makes me feel fuller. Some days I do get really hungry so I compensate for eating more by working out.
