  • Did I exercise? Yes, 4 mile (very super slow) recovery run. In calorie budget? Yes Tracked? Yes I meant to bank some calories today, but then a box of Easter trests came from my mother-in-law for my kids. I was having candy envy so I broke into my own sweets stash. Then I noticed a dessert in the fridge that was about to…
  • Exercise? Yes, about an hour geocaching with the kids and a half hour of lifting. In calorie budget? No, but only because I ate my leftover calories from yesterday. Tracked? Yes!
  • Did I exercise? Yeah, a little bit. 🤣 I ran 6 miles today, walked 5 miles, hiked with friends for 3 miles and played DDR for an hour. In calories? Yes Tracked? Yes I decided today was the day I was going to get to my 400% move goal on the Apple activity app, hence the excessive exercise. I think I’ll be comatose tomorrow.…
  • Day 107 - 109.4 miles Finally got my miles pulling ahead of the day. I’m thinking if starting a half marathon training plan next month. If I do, my mileage will easily make 365 for the year. Just not sure I want to dedicate that much time to running. 🤔
  • I’ve forgotten to update. I briefly went down into the 147s, but the next day I was back into the 150s. I do think it’s just cycle-related water retention though so by my next official Sunday weigh in I hope it will have cleared out to leave me in the 140s. I’ve raised my calorie goal because if I’m in the 140s it outs me…
  • Did I exercise? Yes, an hour of ‘boosted’ DDR and 50 minutes on my stationary bike. In calories? Yes Tracked? Yes
  • Nvm, I just noticed it said they go out through Wednesday so that answered my question. ;-)
  • Did I exercise? Yes, we went geocaching as a family and I did my lifting plus a solo hike. In calories? Yes, being strong! Tracked? Yes!
  • 30k is a lot, kudos on that! My personal daily goal is 15k, but my average so far this month is 21k. We’re in “omg it’s spring, it’s warm, let’s go outside FOREVER” mode right now - so it’s sort of artificially heightened due to that. A 15k daily goal feels really good to me normally though, it tends to be just enough of a…
  • That’s okay, I feel slow too. 🤣 Believe me though, some people will be impressed with even your beginning speed. There’s always someone slower and, in the same vein, always someone faster!
  • My understanding is that you’re asking for ideas to make that run/walk combo into a straight run? If so, my suggestion is to slow your speed down a lot so that you can run for longer periods of time. The slower you run the farther you will run. Once you do that, speed will build itself over time and isn’t really something…
  • Exercise? Yes, I ran in my first 5k this morning, tons of fun! In calorie budget? Yes, back on it! Tracked? Yes!

  • Exercised? 9 mile hike with a friend ^_^ Within calories? Not today :-/ Tracked? Yes
  • Exercised? Yes, pushups, chinups and a short walk. Within calories? Not even close (but still within for my weekly goal, ate my leftover calories early this week). Tracked everything? Why, yes, I did, even if it’s terrifying to look back on. 🤣
  • Yes, I just dry roast. I don’t use oil if I’m just roasting a side of veggies, though I will use it in certain recipes. For easy snacks, I like cheesesticks (especially the ones that are wrapped in pepperoni omg) and sometimes I make some meat-n-cheese rolls (sometimes with a romaine wrap if I have it, normally just the…
  • Exercised? 6 mile hike 👍🏻 In calories? Yes Tracked? Yes
  • I just really like veggies so I tend to buy whatever is tasty looking and chop, combine to a medley. I use season all because I like it and if I want something exceptionally flavorful I add a variety of those cherry tomatoes. They add an amazing flavor profile after cooking. I really just love veggies though so it doesn’t…
  • Congratulations on meeting your goal @durhammfp ! I feel you on not being sure about the final weight, too. It’s good to have a vague goal in mind, but never easy to know if it’s accurate until you’re there. Nothing wrong with figuring it out over time. :-) Good luck with maintenance! :-D
  • Exercise, 8 mile speed walk (just under 2 hours 👍🏻) Within calories, yep Tracked, yep
  • Did I exercise? Ran just over 3 miles, chased the kids all over the playground, and lots of walking. Calorie budget? Yes Tracked? Yes I’ve had a great day. Lots of fun *and* I was able to move down one level of resistance bands for my assisted chinups. I’m getting closer to doing a chinup without help. 😁
  • Unfortunately they actually don’t have a lot of protein for the amount of calories. 163 calories of almonds will only give you 6g of protein. They do have a lot of healthy fats though if you need more of those in your diet.
  • Exercise? 30 minutes of strength training and 45 minutes of DDR. Calorie budget? Yes Tracked? Yes
  • I have to keep a pair of sized up jeans specifically because of that, but I’m normally so uncomfortable I just wear leggings anyhow. Honestly, on the worst days I won’t change out of pajamas unless I have to go out. 🤦🏼‍♀️
  • I don't know about gaining muscle if you’re in a deficit (I’ve heard that’s extremely difficult to do), but I definitely gained strength using the Hasfit videos. I used some of their beginner videos as sort of a bridge between just walking for exercise and heavier strength training. I was going to start some of their more…
  • @pupmama98 That is exactly the same attitude I have about TOM. I still weigh in for the data but otherwise I try to just ignore it. 🤣
  • Unfortunately calories can be pretty low if you’re mostly sedentary for sure. When I first started out I couldn’t do much more than walking with any level of regularity and I definitely noticed how low my calorie goal felt through that. :-/ For your height though you are at least at a healthy weight, so if you don’t mind…
