I agree, just don't weigh yourself during that time. If it makes you unhappy, don't torture yourself. Why bother to weigh yourself and see a number that you know isn't completely accurate because you are so bloated and heavy from water weight!? Good luck! :)

You say "high-protein foods". Maybe you are gaining a lot of muscle? Also, take your measurements. Don't rely solely on the scale. It is also a slow process. Colorful is important, if you ask me. No one saying to make a rainbow salad but, you will get different vitamins and nutrients by eating a variety of foods. They almost go hand in hand. Instead of focusing on the colors, find healthy recipes that you would like to try. Good luck!

Adding on to the above comments, which i agree with a lot of them, you need to mix things up while still being healthy. Your body is getting used to the same workout and isn't gaining anything from it. You need to try some swimming or biking or even walking! Good luck and whatever you do, don't give up.
