You don't need any "tips" to get out of a plateau. If you are accurately weighing all your food, staying within your daily calorie limit, the plateau *will* come to and end.

Frosted Mini Wheats (still my favorite cereal), scrambled eggs, bacon, English muffin, Quest bars, Kashi bars. Once in a while, I'll have a kiddie cereal like Cocoa Pebbles. Usually some combination of the above totaling 350 calories or so.

Sorry folks but I gotta ask, what is the TDEE method? I've lost 46 pounds using MFP, so far. I thought your daily calorie limit was based on a deficit from your TDEE. I know what TDEE stands for, just unaware of any method.

I'll add: weight yourself every day and at the same time of day. It takes another variable out of the data stream.

For me, it was MFP itself. I stumbled on the app when browsing through the App Store and thought...hmmm, why not? I installed it and began the next day. That was 6 months and 45 pounds ago.
