OK...apparently the MFP forum is ignoring the orientation metadata. The workaround is to take the photo with the phone held sideways (i.e. landscape) with the base of the phone on the right. That's for the iPhone anyway. Probably similar for other phones.

I've lost weight (29 pounds so far) by counting calories and staying at or under the daily calorie limit calculated by MFP. I've followed no other "diet" or regimen and eat whatever foods I like.

I'm surprised that people suggested "salad". It's very easy to create a salad of 1000 calories or more.

The eye opener for me was portion control and weighing my food. I was eating a crazy amount of calories before I started doing that routinely. Don't remember where I read this, but someone determined that we're usually satisfied by a relatively small amount of a particular food. But if it's on the plate we keep eating it…

You'll have to try some and decide for yourself. At GNC stores, if you buy 3 you get one more free. My favorite is double chocolate chunk. I also like chocolate chip cookie dough. They have a new mint chocolate flavor but I haven't tried it yet.

Yes, I see what you mean. It's just a number, after all. To me, crossing that numerical border was a major milestone but only one milestone.

Plain chicken wings are 75-80 calories per wing. The ones in your photo look grilled, not breaded/deep fried. Ask them to hold the sauce and don't eat all 12. Give a few away to the people you're with and you might keep it to 800.

You lost 20 pounds in 20 days? Did you amputate your legs or something?

Just keep staying in calorie deficit and you'll be fine. Don't worry about being in a plateau. It's normal.
