  • Some campus rec centers have free workout classes, either student led or for one pass/fail credit. I didn't take advantage of this until my senior year, but wish that I had. It's a great way to force yourself to get to the gym after classes.
  • I would like to continue being in the group in the fall! Haven't been keeping up with the group as much as I want to, so I will definitely be more on to if that in the fall. Also, I think a smaller group in the fall will be nice and make us all more likely to post. :)
  • My NSV for the week is that I ran my first 5k today without walking any of it! It's been my goal for years but I always gave up. Not this time!

  • I work out at orange theory too. I have heard that the calorie estimates from the heart rate monitors are overestimated so I try to log my workout as 100-150 less calories than the total the orange theory heart rate monitor gives me. That way I don't eat back more calories than I actually burned. That has been working for…
  • Have you all found that the workout calorie burn predictions that MFP comes up with are close to what your activity tracker says for non running activities? I do a lot of exercise classes, but don't really run so I am trying to decide if I should get an activity tracker or not
