  • I feel you! I managed to gain 40lbs after about a year and 1/2 of falling off the wagon and then being run over by it. But that's in the past, I want my old body back and nothing is going to slow me down. I have set mini 10lb goal to reach so I am not focused too heavily on the big picture. You can do it! I have lost 9lbs…
  • Hi! Been on MFP for about a month, so far lost 9lbs! I have a goal to lose 40lbs. I log everyday and my diary is open. Feel free to add me :)
  • I tried it too and was starving most of the time and really didn't lose much weight. The second I stopped bomb the weight gain was instant. Its really expensive and not filling. My coach was a total sweetheart but I always felt like an outsider at the fitlab because I wasn't buying every product they sold so wasn't part of…
  • I have a low calorie plan too. Breakfast is old fashioned oats with a little bit of honey, lunch usually consists of a couple of strips of chicken breast in a lite marinade, roasted broccoli and baked sweet potato not only is all of this delicious but more importantly filling! Dinner last night was a low cal version of…
  • One of my mental tricks to end late night snacking is I close the kitchen down. After dinner I clean up everything, prepare whatever I need to do for the next day and then make some tea. • Thanks for sharing! Someone once told me that if you complain about something but do nothing about it then you are actually comfortable with what you are complaining about. Only those who get out of their comfort zone to make the change truly dislike what they are complaining about. Now when I hear people say 'Its too…
  • Make note in your food diary when your feeling extra bloaty then after a few weeks look back and note if there are any similar food groups you were eating on those days. It could be something you are eating, that's bothering your stomach. For me its pasta, my body does not like pasta, just a small amount and I feel swollen…
  • I am grateful I live in the age that I can use an app on my phone to keep track of everything and if I don't know how many calories something is a quick google search will tell me. Feels great having such easy access to information that helps me keep on track!
  • I swim daily. I get an hour lunch break and my gym is just a few mins from my office so I do 30 mins each day. I swum daily a few years ago and then stopped (gained 40lbs :( ) and have just started up again. So happy to be in the water again! The first day back in the pool though was a shock to the system.
