@RespectTheKitty WTG on your 10 miler. Just so cool. I am thinking and rethinking about my scheduled 9miler this Sunday/Monday (depending on weather) And so I will remember how you just winged it and came out strong, aside from a bit thirsty ;) Speaking of thirst-- Bought a new hydration belt last night. Hope this one…

@RespectTheKitty way to go keeping the lead on that Step Challenge. You'll recover easily after some rest @RunnersLament Just the fact that you had the guts to sign yourself up for a 150 Challenge is great and you haven't quit. Keep going strong

Thank you so very kindly @MobyCarp and @_nikkiwolf_ I think that I will stay with what I know for this marathon training mainly because (for me) it's about the distance / endurance and not so much the speed, unless of course the awful Sweeper Wagon comes to pick me up :o I will probably look into interval training and…

What a review @MobyCarp ! Well... I guess I will have to see how my phone holds up in the heat. I'm sorry to say that I've never paid attention to interval work. I followed Hal Higdon's marathon running plan in 2013 and he didn't require it. Funny thing, I just printed off another copy of it this morning for a Nov 5th…

@PastorVincent and @cburke8909 Thanks for the input. I've never tried RunKeeper. But I really like MapMyRun, especially since giving my Garmin watch to my son. He's running now with me! Loving it.
-
Talking about watches.... I'm curious, does anyone just use MapMyRun?
-
@Arctic_Chick WTG running on the treadmill. Never as much fun as a beautiful outdoor run, but you persevered! @kgirlhart and @midwesterner85 So glad you both did not get bit. @girlinahat Oh my. So sad to hear that your'e feeling so bad. Maybe you need an antibiotic and steroids? I also am prone to asthma, and taking my…

That's lovely. Great ideas there. Our world would be a different place if we all gave (even our leftovers) to those in need.

You are an inspiration! I have had bronchitis bunches of times and there's nothing worse, in my book for a runner, than the Dreaded Bronchitis!!!! Great plan you have- Go for the walk and have fun. I will be praying for a quick recovery from this chest infection/ cough.

So went on our run today and a truck driver threw out dog biscuits for my dog! Kind of weird especially since he wasn't even a UPS driver

Hi ya all! Been missing for ever.... I'm loving it that so many familiar faces are still out there running hard and strong! WTG Rededicating my big ole butt to running
-
@baldielove13 I have the same goal as you. And.... I fell off the wagon way before you did. I killed my knees running down a very steep hill. So now, my goal remains the same as your updated one- get as close to 130 as possible. Keep it up everyone! You're all my heroes!
-
@CancerSurvivor2014 Lovely photo of that changing sky. You certainly gave your kiddos a great ending to their 1st day of school!
-
@skippygirlsmom Happy Birthday!!! Made a mountainous mistake yesterday. I ran down the steepest hill around these parts (316 feet descent, just over 1/2 mile in distance) Needless to say, my knees are killing me! So, I took today as a "rest" day and ended up on my feet for 13 hours and counting baking for our Huge family…

Whoo Hoo and congrats @ohhim !!! Your times are great! Glad you feel great. (I'm also glad they are being proactive with that dog and taking steps to prevent it from happening again.) Many congratulations on your Triathlon yesterday!

Welcome @aarar ! I admire you already! Many blessings to you this month!
-
@Ohhim Please give us an update on your dog bite. Praying for your Triathlon too! @JoRocka Did using Body Glide on your feet help? I can only imagine the theatrical run I would have if I perhaps would apply it to my feet! @murciaa Yes, getting back to running as a Mommy is something to thank the LORD for. I consider it…

Knees hurt too much today for a recovery run. Walked 4 miles.

Hey Trailies -I made plans this Saturday to run on a "Trails to Rails" trail. Does that count? I hope your boss knows about your dedication. @skippygirlsmom - Yep, totally relate to…
