My kids and I went to the Big Gay Ice Cream store in Philly. We really weren't impressed--the store itself was fun, but the ice cream was nothing special. This would probably be the Rainbow Bagel experience.

Huh. Did you get one?

What did you think of the White Chocolate Reese's Egg? I think I like them as much as the milk chocolate ones. And, yeah, there doesn't seem to be much out there this year. :/

I need a cake from someone. Everything else is optional.

We often disagree on the foodie thread, @Francl27 , but I do agree that I have significant digestive issues when I try to eat a whole pint of Enlightened. In fact, after almost *kitten*ing myself this morning during my run, I have resolved to lay off artificial sweeteners the week before my actual races. I still say,…

I've found chocolate-drizzled broghies at the Asian food market: very tasty! I wouldn't mind finding some plain ones as a base layer for other foods.

Really? Did I miss a memo?

$1.00/any size coffee since the New Year and free coffee Super Bowl morning. Wawa is proof on Earth that the gods love us and want us to be happy.

Red, purple, and blue. If I ever do blue again, I'm coloring my hair silver first.

Based on personal experience: yes. Be warned, though, that you might have skin sag around your waist at the end if you're trying to lose over 50 lbs., which might ruin the lines of the look. There's no way of knowing until you've lost the weight. However, with the subtle application of lycra, you, too, can have fun with…

I tried the cherry-flavored one, hoping for the taste of nostalgia when I lived off of Diet Cherry Coke in college. It was...kind of the same?...but then there was this weird chemical-burning taste at the back. I couldn't finish it.

My definition of "good macros" is 10 g of protein per 100 calories. (I run a lot, so I need a decent amount of protein.) I will eat food with less than that, of course, but it's a goal. If folks aren't concerned about sugar intake for medical reasons (like I am), and don't need a lot of protein, then these do fit the bill,…

Lawd... O.O

/looks again /record scratch Wait...*two* grams of protein per serving? *Eleven* grams of sugar!? Oh, *kitten*, no...those macros are awful!

I approve of the new packaging--I can't stop looking at it. We'll see about the product--I agree, @Francl27 , Arctic Zero always tasted like gross water ice to me...

I would agree absolutely that L&L taste better overall than Quest cookies. For me, I (personally) can't justify the 400 calories/16 g. protein/24 g. sugar in my regular diet. (Yeah, yeah, Foodies, that is for the whole cookie (2 servings), but I don't have the willpower to eat half a cookie...) I'm willing to sacrifice…

I tried the new Quest protein cookie this morning. They didn't have peanut butter, so I had to settle for chocolate chip. Which...wasn't really "settling"--I think I can finally retire Lenny and Larry! There was a "wang" aftertaste, but overall it was tasty enough. Big chocolate pieces, as well. I'm very looking forward to…

Do you really need the egg? I mean, I understand it's a binder, but maybe it would stay together without it. Other than that, without a better understanding about your allergies, I've got nothin'.

... Not to pick a fight, but some of us can't have a lot of sugar. Nineteen grams of sugar is more than half of my target grams for the day. Just sayin'.

OK...do you have a recipe for this sorcery?

So: patents of nobility, my horde of BFFs, my Strava stats, and grape-flavored Bubble Yum...

There are calorie burn calculators online that are (probably) more accurate. This is my favorite one for running: https://www.runnersworld.com/tools/calories-burned-calculator
