Ok, please bear with me, I am very easily muddled- what would I log this under here? I can find 'walking' then time per km, but I just can't figure out how long it would take me to walk a km. Math is not my friend. I am working on that too, but it's going to take time. Should I just log what the calculator tells me, which…

Saying I couldn't do the math is an understatement lol. Thank you very much for that site, I have book marked it.
-
Thank you! I tried entering all of the information into 'map my walk', and it gave me over 1200 calories burned. I lol'd.

So.... this is brilliant satire. Guacamole. Take that, Avocado!

I have strong opinions on Oz. I feel he is much worse than a quack. He is a liar, a fraud, a charlatan, and spouts anti-science bullphoey. He's part of what is making our society terrified of 'chemicals' and GMOs. I kind of loathe him.

Right around 1600 a day. If I was on prednisone, easily 4k.
-
Not a single thing. If I want it, I will try to fit it into my calories. If I can't, I'll wiggle things around to fit it in the next day.
-
I'm just going to point out that just because you cannot pronounce a chemical, does not mean it is bad. Lets not be Food Babe here.

I've wiggled around my budget a little, and have found cash for an every 2 week junk food binge. I will seriously eat an entire bag of chips AND have a pop, every other Saturday night. It's glorious. I don't have to make this from scratch. It comes in a package. The sound of opening that bag, and cracking that can of pop…

Eating too much. Prednisone on and off for years. When I was on it, if I didn't eat and eat and eat, I felt like murdering everyone around me, and then eating them. Now that my doctor and I have my health issues mostly under control with other medications, I shouldn't need it anymore. I'm back to eating like I did before I…

I promise that I'm not going to be this fanatical for much longer haha. I think 1/20th would probably be a close guesstimate. I ate a LOT that day, it's a good thing I didn't take more than that, or I would have been over. Not a huge issue, but this is good stuff to know!

I do what I need to get done before I allow myself on a game. I've always done this. I'm a still ffxi daily player, but living near the Rocky Mountains (Canada) is plenty of motivation to haul my diseased carcass (I have many health issues that get in the way of real exercise, but I make sure to walk what I can every day)…

OH, yes, and of course, CAH lol. Also: Magic the Gathering, but that's more of a collectible card game, not a board game. We have over 20k cards right now, and have it insured as a separate thing on our insurance lol.
-
I adore board games. Munchkin, Pandemic, Evolution, Dominant Species, Boss Monster, Settlers of Catan, and of course, Scrabble are my favourites.

We didn't even have a TV until I was 8 or 9 lol. I played a little bit of Mario and King's Quest at a friends, but never was interested in video games, until I was 15. We then got a SNES, and Final Fantasy III (VI technically, but the cartridge says III). I haven't looked back. I am a Final Fantasy nerd girl to the core. I…

Hi gang! I'm 35, live in Canada, and am near addicted to FFXI. My husband and I have been playing it for 10 years, almost exclusively. I do break now and then for some MTG on the ps3, but only for a night or so. I am such a FF nerd that I have a Mog, from FFVI tattoo. I used to be a Diablo2 hard core, then I found FFXI,…

It's me again everyone. I am in a much happier place now lol. It's totally the pred- It can make me angry at my socks on bad days. I have rheumatoid arthritis, I NEED it, or I risk very, very severe joint deformity. Thankfully, I'm only on it for a week or so at a time, whenever there is a flare. I'm back to my happy…
-
Thanks so much everyone for letting me have a moment. Pred is an ugly monster- stay off of it if you can lol. Now, it is time to go start supper. I don't think I hate that scale right now, so all is good. :)
-
And er yeah, I didnt 'weigh' the milk. Mistype on my part. That at least I can just go with what's on the package :)
-
There is no actual muffin lol. I don't even like muffins. Someone mentioned it, so I went with it. I only use this on the computer, I don't own a mobile anything.
-
Yeah, I do NOT want to be an oblivious dieter, so I chose this method. It's going to work, IT'S GOING TO WORK. Why? Because I'm awesome, and I can do this. My reason for getting mad at weighing wasnt because of knowing how many calories are in my food, it was the act of actually DOING the weighing. I would love nothing…
-
LOL Janei! Honestly, I think I just needed to have a moment. I have lost weight on this, so it's working, I AM going to stick to it, and it is going to work. I do think it's the pred- I got angry at the tv last night too.
-
I eat nothing from a package. I can't afford it. Life would be EASY if I could just go with package information. I made scalloped potatoes last night, from scratch. I weighed the potatoes, the flour, the milk, the onion. I didn't weigh the pepper, I'm doing this all the way, but I'm not crazy lol.
-
I have tried just portion control, I have tried eliminating foods, etc, etc. The ONLY thing that has ever moved my scale has been weighing. I'm just feeling defeated by my food right now. It would be such a nice treat if I could just grab a pre-made anything, and know what the calories are in it. Venting really did help.
-
Meh, it's ok Janei :) I take part in online political debates, nothing anyone can say actually gets to me anymore lol.
-
I think my main issue is I have to weigh *everything* to know what's actually in it, as I can't afford pre-made anything. I have to make every single thing from scratch, and weighing it all is just wearing me down. I don't get to say oh hey, I want a muffin, I have to MAKE that muffin. It's so time consuming, and…

this is what does on with Dr. Oz and his supplement industry. This article is about green coffee, but I would be very surprised if it didnt apply to every single thing he sells. disclaimer: I don't like Dr. Oz or other pseudoscience spewing snake oil salesmen very much.…

I get to talk to my doctor in 2 weeks- he's so popular there is a massive waiting list lol. A stationary bike- I could totally do that! Leg lifts too, I'm sure I could do those. Thanks so much, I can start to make a bit of a plan now

nope, we have no programs here, at all to help the disabled unless you live in the extended care centre, and I've got 35 years before I qualify for the minimum age to move in haha. We are too small to have a chapter of the arthritis organization, and we have no public transport. I've asked on my local buy and sell site, no…
