Not quite the oldest. I am 68 and have lost 40 lbs and started an excercise program all after 65. I walk so fast now I start jogging for about 10 min intervals and have never been "athletic " in my life. Feel so much healthier now.

Just today I gathered up my size 10-14 pants to donate. Have gone from 162 lbs to 121 lbs. now in size 4-6 depending on mfg. I mostly buy clothes now from Goodwill or consignment shops. So not a huge investment. I, of course, say I will never again gain it back. Although I have no intention of doing so. ??? If I did need a…

Love this! WTG. I am 68 years old and most of my activity is walking. Have lost 40 lbs and now I walk so fast that I even break out into a "jog" occasionally. I jogged 10 mins in a row a day or so ago.

I am sure you must have beautiful weather all the time. Here in NC it has been raining for a week and is expected to rain until Monday. Partly due to Hurricane Juaquin and a stationary low. I had to walk on treadmill today. So boring but necessary.

You guys are all gourmet cooks! @crazyravr - love all the grilled meals. You must live in a very mild climate to be able to grill every day. It has been raining here in NC for the last week and still more to come. So no grilling for us. Crockpot veggie beef soup for dinner tonight.

Thanks. I have lost the lb. gained on vacation last weekend. I love eating out because I don't have to shop, cook and clean up but eating out has hidden sodium and fats. So can't do it very often. No choice last weekend because we were in a hotel. Did pretty good and got back to it last Monday. That is the key.

Good plan. Every occasion seems to revolve around food. We have to change that for ourselves and our health. I have stopped baking too. It is just too much of a temptation. When my husband want desserts I tell him to eat them out at lunch or I buy a cake from the grocery and freeze it in portions for him. That is a good…

Weighed in this morning at 122.6. Back to my low point from last week. Got rid of the lb gained while away for last weekend! Just put on a crockpot of vegetable beef soup for this raw, rainy day. 11,414 so far today but I am headed to the sofa to read and knit. Ready to relax. But I guess I will get a lot of that this week-end because it is supposed to rain a lot from this Joaquin character here in NC. Hope he heads out to sea and everyone stays safe.

Hope all our East Coast friends stay safe during the storm. Hope Joaquin stays out to sea. We have had so much rain here in NC. We need to send some of it to California and the states in drought. Looks like this weekend will be a read and knit and soup weekend. Also walking on the treadmill.

Esther, you make me tired but then again, I have several years on you. I am 68 and getting slower but I guess I do pretty good for an "old lady". Use it or lose it. Awesome day for you. All that activity should have burned a few calories.
