I have been asked multiple times if I'm pregnant. I respond, "No, I'm just fat." I laugh to play down the comment, but really, it hurts my feelings. I'm trying to lose midsection weight, but it's really hard to do once it's there.

Using a food scale in front of your children shouldn't be looked at as a bad thing. You can use it as a tool to explain, "This is how much a serving looks like."
