  • Struggled with "bulking"all my life. Had a doctor tell me at less than 6% body fat I should eat a Big Mac and chocolate shake daily. That dumb advice lead to 20 lbs heavier but all fat. So, I resorted to accept a slow muscle growth with a higher % protein diet and "slowly" bulk. It's no fun being the "thinnest" guy at the…
  • Very interested to see your progress. Been stuck at 150 Lbs most of my life. Each time I "bulk" up it turns out to be "fat" up more than muscle up. So, I'm very Interested in you Macros and exercise choices along with BMI (and muscle success) along the way. Can you share your current benchmark BMI, work out plan, Macros…
  • What your saying makes perfect sense. Admittedly I'm getting confused on "bulking". Seems like there is a trade off between fat/muscle gain in which an optimal surplus in Carbs+Fats to Protein ratio exists keeping minimal fat/muscle ratio on the way up. Any additional thoughts on "optimal" conditions are welcomed and…
  • FYI... wife says awesome dip gluten free low carb potential and thinks with low fat cream cheese and low fat blue cheese on veggies vs crackers could still be part of shred. Again...GRATITUDE Pal....CEORPR
  • Sounds TERRIFIC! Wife says she will make this for next baseball game. Again thanks for ideas.
  • Thanks for the idea. Certainly made me think through the calories. My work out is a "work in progress" as I learn. Working out 5 days a week alternating upper body chest/tri's and Back/biceps 3 days a wreek. Then lower body & abs 2 days a week. So my down days are weekends and I was very concerned keeping a consistent…
  • Have 4 sons. Me and baseball loving son tried this recipe tonight. Was fantastic! Thank you from me and son. !!
  • so grateful for the well thought out response. Following you suggestions! Humble thanks!
  • Ya...just learning "bulk" and "cut" ...thanks for you time. You motivated me to keep research and studying this 15% deficit.
  • FEEKING AWESOME. Loved the crock idea...but bulk cook and freeze and/or multiple uses ...bad *kitten* ...thank you
  • Crockpot! Of course....thanks. wife and I are very busy and this idea was top shelfm thanks sir!
  • Excellent input. Got my calculator out and got me to really think through good solid grams per body weight. Will use your benchmark and track for a while to see personal results. Appreciation!
  • For me....Oats, Brown sugar vanilla protein scoop helped me meet my goals of 50% carbs, 30% protein & 20 fat as oats I've learned are caloried from carbs. AND my doc loves the oats idea as it helps my cholesterol issues. So again massive thanks for the idea. Running with it I've also added chicken to the oats. It's not for…
  • Tried your idea with Steel Cut Oats, 1 Tbl spn brown sugar, scoop of vanilla protein ...was so good thought I was cheating... didn't have chocolate on hand but can't wait to try you specific recipe. So thanks for helping think and branch out. Good Karma back at ya...Ceorpr
  • awesome input... did more research and even Consulted my Physician. Totally preached low cholesterol as my dad had heart disease. Wife found plant protein with no cholesterol. So gratitude for your thoughts.
  • Thanks for the help. Your on the money and I've caught on to the fact fat is a simple fact as one gains muscle. Appreciate the .5 a week advice. Arrived at the same number through accidental calculation and your note builds my confidence I'm on the right track. I don't know m y current body fat. Other than seeing a doctor…
  • Massive thanks for the lead. Will certainly check it out!
  • Thanks for your feedback. Gratitude!!!
  • Terrific...this is what I've set my MyFitnessPal to help monitor. I was surprised to see my caloric intake spring to 2100. I've been staying under 1200. 2200 is nearly double. I feel full all the time and fear fat will dominate muscle gain.
  • Thanks for the feedback
  • Thanks fir the feedback
  • Not an expert. But a student of chemistry with minor in bio. Sounds simple. Your gaining some muscle and losing some fat for a core balance. Seems ideal. Imagine 1lb of pure lean deli ham in the bag. Now imagine only 4 of these strapped one each to your biceps and chest muscles. Youd look much more muscular but have only 4…
