You may be eating too much/too soon before the gym. That's what had me puking last Friday. Other than that you may need to ease into the workouts or not hit them as hard for a week or 2 before your push hard so your body knows it a regular thing & not a stress/danger situation.

It does if you count it all cardio. I have to log strength training under cardio or nothing changes.

High weigh low rep typically builds strength. Low weight high rep typically building muscle mass & endurance. I lift semi heavy with medium reps. & it works good for me.

To little your body may be in survival mode. I'd eat one big healthy meal & drink at least 1gallon of water to reset your matabalism. I drink at least a gallon a day during the work week & I do great. If its tap there may be hard water or sulfur. If its bottles, switch to distilled or spring water.

When I drink its lightly & only once a monthish. I just make sure I stay under my calorie goal & I'm good. Lowest calorie drinks will definitely be strait liquor or mixed with tonic.

Strength train. It will active your muscles & as they recover they'll burn fat for energy for the next 48-72hr as long as you get a nice hard lift in for the day. Just make sure you get .5g-1g of protein per pound of body weight to feed the muscles. I & others have great results with that type of regimen.

I go before work because I work evening shift. I like that because I'm fresh for the workout.
