"Cheating" - the negative connotations we associate with food really bugs me. Once I let those go, I felt much better.

Low carb since November 2015 and loving it! Yummy food, less bloating, and no eczema flare-ups. Plus, it helped me drop more pounds. I'm a fan.

I was about that weight when I started and I'm 5'0" as well. I would be starving on 1,000 calories. I lost most of mine by eating 1,200.

Sitting on my aunt's patio with her dogs and smelling the steaks that her neighbor is grilling. I'm jealous.

Yep, same here. My household isn't poor enough for Medicaid or free clinics, but is also not wealthy enough to afford ER trips, Urgent Care, or primary care. It's a crappy place to be. We only get treatment when we absolutely have to. For me, about three years ago when I had pink eye.

I went to the gym for the first time a few weeks ago. I was nervous, but like others have said, everyone is focused on their own workout. I did just that and a guy saw me struggling with a sticking pin on a machine and helped me out so I could adjust it. :)

It all depends on what you buy. Read labels. I buy Quest, BPI Sports, Pure Protein Plus, and Optimum Nutrition. All low sugar/carbs and not too high in calories. I eat a high fat diet, so, fat content doesn't bother me.

Breakfast was a kale omelette with garlic, crushed red pepper, and parmesan and strawberries.

Yep. One good choice at a time. I log and move on.

http://thecouponproject.com/losing-weight-on-a-budget-why-i-dont-do-cheat-days-and-what-i-do-instead/ One popular idea among dieters is the “cheat meal” or “cheat day.” The philosophy is simple: eat healthy for most of your meals and then you can eat whatever you want for a meal or a day as a “cheat.” While I think you…

80%+ dark chocolate fat bombs I make chocolate PB ones that are 1g carb. I eat SF candy that's very few net carbs.

You won't always be 'motivated.' Sometimes, you just have to do it. Do something, anything you might enjoy. My favorite 'fun' exercises are basketball and cycling. Baby steps. Like someone said above, 10 minutes of walking a day is a great start. I like to put on a good, hard rock song from my workout playlist to pump…

New personal bests: Wide squat - 17lbs Lunges - 15lbs I have cerebral palsy and have focused on strength training since July. When I started, I could lunge 5lbs. I'm seeing definition in my outer thighs and my quads. Building muscle is awesome.

This was totally me before finding LCHF. Yay, us.

Avoiding most of the leftover Easter candy, dessert, snacks, and sweets in my house. I refuse to undo my whole day.

I've been more active and watching my diet for close to three years now (down 30lbs) and I still get crap from my parents and my family. Very annoying, especially when I don't say anything about their poor choices. I eat what I want and they eat what they want. I just ignore it and keep doing my thing. If I let it really…

Check out Eric's (Powered By Ice Cream) YouTube channel. He's recovered from BED. His nugget for binge-eating: "The first bite tastes the same as the last." Very true.

Full fat because low fat is usually more processed and full fat keeps me full and helps with my health issues.

Little sister brought home danish and cookies from Walmart. Not a nibble. Had PB and a piece of SF candy instead. B) B)

You will pry my diet soda and Sweet N Low from my cold, dead hands.

Working out when you're sick or truly fatigued (not 'just woke up' fog) is not good for you. It does more harm than good - releasing cortisol, the stress hormone, which perpetuates body fat storage.

I got to change my weight from 130 to 118 when I renewed my license. It felt awesome.

I've been LCHF since November 2015. Feel free to add.

This is me, too.

September 2014 vs September 2016. 30lbs difference.

Yeah, if you needed IV fluids, you were pretty dehydrated. I had a 24-hour bug last year (felt sick Sunday night, slept all day Monday) and didn't feel well enough to workout until Thursday. Listen to your body and don't push it. Get your hydration, electrolytes, and energy back in check first.

I usually eat (I eat LCHF), then, lots of water (I notice a huge difference in my performance if I don't properly hydrate beforehand) and go.
