Every Friday morning. Doing so every day would drive me insane.

Amount of pizza an American eats in a year.

I successfully resisted a huge craving to eat a whole box of m&m's (2.5 servings; my fave candy). A few weeks ago, I probably would have given in.

Optimum Nutrition double rich chocolate with peanut butter. I make it with light soy milk.

I used to do cheat days and now I just fit in whatever I want. http://thecouponproject.com/losing-weight-on-a-budget-why-i-dont-do-cheat-days-and-what-i-do-instead/ One popular idea among dieters is the “cheat meal” or “cheat day.” The philosophy is simple: eat healthy for most of your meals and then you can eat whatever…

I'm 5'0". SW: 148.7 CW: 125.4 GW: 118 I have been doing low carb-high fat since 11/10 and have had amazing results so far. I would love to be friends with more shorties who understand the struggles we go through.

I agree with segacs; buy some good-quality dark chocolate. I am a chocoholic and I bought Lindt's 85% dark and it is so bitter, rich, and delicious. A serving is four squares, but last night, I had two even though I was satisfied after having one.

I went all-out. I've only been at this for about three weeks. I LOVE Thanksgiving food. The things I indulged on the most were rolls (three) and pie (a slice of French silk and a slice of pumpkin, pie is a special occasion thing for me). Like last year, I had a bit of everything and didn't go back for seconds. Earlier in…

Same here. I slacked off for July/August and am glad to be back on the healthy train for 83 days now. I did say that I wanted keep my log-in streak over Thanksgiving. I did log some things, but not the main meal. I went back to how I've been eating the next day.

Same here! Feel free to add me, my diary is friends only.

Watching your family enjoy foods that you're not eating. Family members not voicing their support. I know they support me and are proud of my weight loss, but they don't really show it, maybe because they don't want to look at their own poor-ish diets and overeating. After using a food scale for over a year, my mom still…

Yes. I'm 5'0", so I totally get this. I always wish I was taller so I could have more calories and still be in a deficit. I started at 1,200, but I felt hungry all the time, so I bumped it up to 1,400 and I'm still losing.
-
I estimated the cookies and cereal I ate, but I'm not logging anything else. I just wanted my sign-in streak to continue. One day isn't much in the grand scheme of things. I'm gonna enjoy all of the rich food and not worry about the rest.

Bread, sweets, and snack foods like salt and vinegar chips and Hot n Spicy Cheez-its. I LOVE chocolate. It's been a real victory to not feel as powerless over them. If I REALLY want them, I'll have a serving and try not to go back for more. lol

Hey, all. :) I'm avoiding doing more rounds of FitnessBlender's abs program because I know it's going to take months to get the results I want. Ugh.

Eat ALL the sweet potatoes!! They are delicious. It's what you add to them that can hinder your goals.

Misfit Flash. It's not fancy, but it works for me. I like that I can wear it on wrist or my shoe.

I had to write a paper for a health class about how we see ourselves according to the six dimensions of wellness (emotional, occupational, spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual). I saw how unhealthy I was in so many areas of my life and decided to make the changes. Weight-wise, I'm still not where I want to be, but…

Soda (taking 150 calories from 1,400 is not worth it, I'd rather eat them) and ranch dressing (sparingly).

Thank you! :) I had a big "whoosh" this morning; I'm only a pound away from my original goal and four pounds from my new goal. Yay!
-
Thanks! :)

Thanks. I took a break from MFP after vacation and decided I was ready to get back on the horse. Ready to get these last few pounds off, it'll be a year in September since I started.

I've had a successful week with eating well and exercising, but my food scale has disappeared. ETA: Found it. Crisis averted. I think my mom chooses not to lose weight so that she has something to complain about. Personally, I would like her to not have a stroke or heart attack (she's a smoker) and die, but whatever.

I know it's evil of me to mention it without telling, but I just can't! It's too embarrassing! I've had quite a few of those moments, but at least I never accidentally called a teacher "mom." I have that going for me. ;)

I'm having a hard time getting back to sticking within my calories since I got back from vacation. I took the rest of last week off from logging and the only day I have not gone over is Monday. I had a snack at like 10 PM last night and was going to be fine but then I decided to eat a chocolate chip muffin, chips,…

Congrats! I'm disabled but don't use any walking aids. If you can do this, then I can, too. Great work.
