I'm 5' 1/2" (that half an inch is important!). Currently 165, would love to be 125. Some days I get discouraged - I am working out 5-6 days per week in one hour sessions, and eating much better than I used to. But it is such a slow journey! And I don't know if you ladies feel it, but every pound shows on shorter frames.

I indeed use measuring cups and an electronic food scale. I log food with MFP. I get my calorie burns from the machines and MFP. (I'll usually average them - I know machines aren't always accurate, but I the treadmill and elliptical I use allow for heart rate monitoring, and height, weight, and age input).
