FWIW I've got black on both of my bikes now. I'm dropping Blue on my Spec next time around, and Neon Green on my Aventon next time around.

No it's a legit thing. Even though I've never seen it go off. Basically when some bros start slamming weights and grunting and groaning really loudly they make the alarm go off to draw attention to the person doing it. Which is nothing more than a way to embarrass someone ....

Caloric burn is extremely hard for one to measure when exerting effort to lift weights. You can monitor your HR. That's easy. But monitoring Caloric Burn is something completely different.

When I started losing weight I went to Wal-Mart and bout a 29er. Just to see if i would like cycling as an adult as much as I did as a kid. Before I dropped some jack on real bike. I've been debating on taking off the free wheel purposely locking it up with epoxy, taking the rear mech off and making a faux fixed gear 29er…

Stupid voice to text.... they don't, repeat do not, have personal trainers other than classes.

There are a lot of debates on the "What, Who, Whys, and Whens" of doing supplement post workout... . There is thread rocking and rolling on this here..... http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10450751/protein-after-running#latest

In my humble opinion, no. Coffee is not water. Coffee contains water, just like soda, beer, whiskey, moonshine all contain water....

I, personally, don't have an issue with PF. I'm product of what can be accomplished at PF. BUT they are kind of limiting, and they do have "personal trainers". So your going to get out exactly what you put in.

Visible Panty Line... at least that what my wife calls it.

No.... but now I'm looking for VPL at the gym thanks to you perverts.

My little gym just hung a pair of TRX gravity Straps and I'm taking a fond liking to those. I don't per-say have a favorite at the gym. I just go there when it's too crappy to go outside and run/cycle.

The only reason I wear an HRM when I lift is just so I know what "zone" I'm in and how hard I'm pushing myself, and I'll let the BPM drop between sets. I do not monitor the Calories for my weight training sessions.

Nice looking bike. I'm diggen the fork crowns. and to be honest the gold on teal is pretty dang sharp.

Side question : Does Strava have a "booty time" KOM?

Yea I have a hipster bike, even complete with spoke card. Not very piratical in the city, but it does turn a lot of heads.... But really fun out on the open path. I'm about 30 mins [driving time] from the Loveland-Miami Bike Path. It's a stretch of car free paths from Cleveland Ohio, to Cincinnati Ohio. And I love just…

Sometimes between 100-200 calories for road biking, sometimes 250-350 for mountain biking. As for running. I have specifically looked at running. I will when I get home and post some screen shots.

I'll be fair, I'll use my Aventon and swap over to fixed gear and we'll go out for a time trail ride....
-
I use the Garmin VivoActive HR, aka Fenix 3 HR Jr. Running, Cycling, Indoor Running, Indoor Cycling, just about anything I could want it to do.

*picking fly crap out of pepper ...... Depends on how much your paying for your Protein. I'm paying roughly 50 cents per serving on my Whey. I've been getting mine from MyProtein here recently. Also has to do with how much your paying for Gatorade or PowerAde. But all in all. I do agree with you. They is more than one to…

Even doing the same exercise will produce different numbers for the same workout in different ecosystems. . . . I can go out on my bike and Strava, Garmin Connect, Endomondo, and MapMyFitness will yield 3 or 4 different caloric burn outputs from the same .GPX file. All calories burned are pure estimates anyway. I would be…

You can maintain 20mph for 35 miles on that?

What about the Specialized Venge Vias Di2?

I could see this spreading across college campuses all over the states.

I'm one of those people. I log my MultiVitamin... but I do the same one all the time So it's just there in my recents. I have a separate column for supplements. Whey Protein, Vitamins, Energy Gels, all of that type of stuff gets thrown into that section so it's an easy find.
-
I only drink Water, UNsweetened Ice Tea, and Black Coffee. All of those are 0 calorie drinks. That's why I typically do not log drinks through the day. If i do a Zero Cal Powerade then I do log it. And if I do something like a electrolyte powder I do log it as well.

Just going to Echo what the others have said. Couple Questions you need to ask yourself : 1) What kind of trail/tarmac are you going to be riding. What's the road conditions like? 2) What do you want to do with the bike? Commute? Race? Fitness? As far as branding go. There is little difference between the Bigger Brands.…

The Flex 2 does is swim-proof , the Charge 2 is not. They do not recommend the Charge 2 to get wet other than washing hands...

So basically you're saying there is not reason to follow a plan. If your goal is overall fitness, and weight loss. Sure going to the gym and focusing on your arms will give you big arms, Going to the Gym and focusing on legs will give you big legs. Focusing on Chest will give you a big chest.... and around the clock we go.…
