  • I could get on Endomondo, Create and log the route on Endomondo then export the .gpx to your pc. Then upload it to your ecosystem of choice. I know Garmin, Strava, and Ride With GPS will allow you to create route. But not log them.... Endo will allow you to create then log out that route.
  • Just plan a Cook Out [Family] dinner. Tell everyone to not say a word about [Fill in the Blank] and when when you're done with dinner and enjoying an adult beverage/dessert drop the proverbial bomb. I had to intervene with one of my friends a number of years ago and that's exactly what we did..... I hope you the best of…

  • I would lean to one of two things. 1) Defective unit or 2) due to the fact it's a wider unit if you're are wearing it between your ulna joint and your hand you could be getting a false reading since it's not staying flush. The Charge HR is a much smaller unit so it's possible it was sitting correctly where as your Surge…
  • That's a personal call in my opinion. I would say 500-750 per day until you're comfortable with your step count again would ideal.
  • It nearly cost me my life, about 4 years ago I was working on my. The jack stand shifted and the car came down on top of me. 2,600 pounds laying on my chest. Broke my left arm's Radius Bone and bruised a couple ribs and did some nerve damage.
  • This is my dream bike.... If I go fat I'm going all out and getting FS.
  • Midwestern here..... We say Hella as well.
  • Makes about as much sense as wiping before you poop. Makes about sense as putting Screen Doors on a Submarine.
  • I had the privilege of having a father that worked in the Automotive Industry. I learned a lot as a youth on how to work on Bikes, Cars, Motorcycles and what not. I'm personally ASE and AIA certified. But anywho .... I ordered the frame set, wheels, Stem and seat post from City Grounds, the Saddle and Bars came from…
  • My story actually started in High School. I played Varsity Baseball, and Varsity Football. Along with that I typically rode my bike anywhere I could. I was a lean mean 190 pound machine. Started Center Field, and I started Defensive Nose Tackle. . . That was in 2001. Fast forward to 2014 ....My wife and I went to Kings…
  • Being from the Mid-West you wouldn't believe what I hear.... That dog'll hunt - - "That will work" Windows shall be licked - - a variation of "That's retarded" As useful as Snow Tires - Some thing you HAVE To have but rarely use. But when you need it, you need it. If you've ever experienced a Midwest winter you'd…

  • A boat is a machine? I guess it depends what you're calling a machine.
  • A Bicycle is a curious piece of machinery. It's the only mode of transportation that it's passenger is also it's engine.
  • 1) Negative Calories Adjust your Caloric Intake Goals on the fly. The more active you are the more calories you get, the less active you are the fewer you get. On the fly, hour by hour, sync by sync. 2) you can sync Garmin Connect to MyFitnessPal to account for your workouts. From the website Click on Apps on the banner,…
  • I was 326 when I started working out, dieting. I started with walking. I'd walk .25 miles for a week or two, then I'd work up .50 miles for a week or two, then 1.00 miles and such. I would cautions against lifting quite yet as that would be a lot of weight on your ankles and knees. If you go to the gym Treadmills and…
  • Any fitness tracker with a optic HRM will serve it's purposes for most people. But keep in mind Optic HRMs are known to not be as fluid and delayed compared to chest mounted HRMS. But all caloric burn readings are just guesstimates at best. With that being said Garmin's Elevate sensor has been known to be accurate, and the…
  • IMHO : Who ever asked who to go should pay. If the Guy asked a Gal on a date, then he pays. If the Gal asked a Guy on a date, then she pays.
  • What about 'Smore Pops? Make a Smore, put a lollipop stick in it... dip it in chocolate.
  • Dry everything out really well with a Terry Cloth rag or micro-fiber cloth, clean and oil the chain. That's really about it. Most of the bikes that you get from a LBS are going to be alloy frames with some carbon parts mixed in. Typically the only ferrous metals on bikes are the Chainrings, Cassette, and Chain. Edit : Pay…
  • Anything you set out to do that will improve your Cardio System, or Muscles. While Mowing the lawn, and cleaning the house do burn calories. I do not consider them exercise.
  • I set a goal on Jan 1 to ride 1,000 miles in a year & run 100 miles in year. Right now I'm sitting at 1,230 miles on bike, and 133 miles on foot.
  • I have a Garmin VivoActive HR, just upgraded from the VivoSmart HR, and I really like the unit. It's basically the Fenix 3 HR Jr. The biggest thing to remember when you're using a GPS watch with a HRM. 1) The Optic HRM will be slower and more choppy than a Chest Best HRM for longer endurance activities. 2) The Optic HRM…
  • It's just called "Train"
  • I have a "Strength" training program on my VivoActive HR. And I connect it to a ANT+ HRM. So i do keep track of my HR during Do you even lift, bro sessions. Since my Garmin Connect Account is connected to my MyFitnessPal account I do count for the calories. However I do not, repeat do not, count it as hard evidence. I know…
  • If you run, cycle and swim you might want tot look into the Moov Now
