  • Amazing... this success story is exactly what I needed to read this morning! Congratulations on weight loss, finding yourself and growing in so many ways!
  • Nice! Big difference in your face too. Great comparison photos!
  • Let me second the Jessicasmithtv recommendation! I have used many, many free YouTube channels/videos and I always go back to her. I have a rotation of her strength/metabolic conditioning workouts that have netted me great results. I used to do fitnessblender, but I'm spoiled for Jessicasmithtv now. I prefer her more…
  • Kitties! I love any type of cat! But long haired orange tabbies are the sweetest... They always seem exceptionally friendly.
  • Lol! Did it taste good anyways? I don't have any pics but I'm one of those people who end up with something weird looking anytime I try to make something with more than 3 ingredients! I don't know how all those food bloggers and Pinterest people do it!
  • I actually just microwave my salmon. One filet with some seasoning and/or butter in a covered small casserole dish. Microwave for about 3-4 minutes. It turns out surprisingly well this way. I do use a meat thermometer to make sure it's cooked to at least 165 F. It's what I had for lunch today actually!
  • I stay away from peanut butter too. Any kind of nut butter really. I ate a whole jar of almond butter in two days once. Don't keep it around anymore. Have you tried PB2? Mix it in with some Greek yogurt and you can get your peanut butter fix without all the calories!
  • When I switched to flavored (unsweetened) seltzer water my water intake sky rocketed also. Your tip is sound!
  • I drink flavored seltzer water all day long. Dasani, La Croix, Poland Springs... Anything I can find on sale. It really helps because I've never been huge on plain water and artificial sweeteners in drinks make me have to pee a lot. Also, the light carbonation can be just filling enough to ward off unplanned snacking.
  • My mom always told me if you drink milk with peanut butter you get a "complete protein". She always served me milk with PB sandwiches. Maybe the milk thing is where the connection between PB and protein comes in.
  • I'm addicted to Jessicasmith tv! Fitnessblender bores me and Millionaire Hoy flat out scares me! Has Fit isn't bad. Lots of Jillian on You Tube also. I use You Tube for work outs almost exclusively these days. So many great work outs... And all for free.
  • I'm on my first week of Whole30. Haven't done it long enough to have much of an opinion (only Day 6).... But I just read through this thread and clicked on lemurcat's "nutrition as I know it" link. Wow.... That is some good stuff!! Glad I read it! I will continue with Whole30 for personal reasons, but it's good to know…
  • Downsizeathome.com has workouts specifically for obese bodies. I just heard about this resource today actually - I think it requires a subscription but it's geared especially for people starting out at large sizes.
  • You look fantastic - your muscle definitely shows - I can't believe thats 40 pounds! It actually looks like you lost a lot more than that - but I would guess that's because you've been building lots of muscle. Nice job!
  • Amazing changes! Thanks for posting all the specifics of your eating and excercise habits along with the incredible pics - I find learning about successful people's habits to be incredibly motivating. I'm so inspired by your changes!
  • If you have access to YouTube, also try FitnessBlender (they have 30 minute programs) or JessicaSmithTv, who has an incredible range of very well done free workouts, many less than 30 min!
  • I completed a round of Body Revolution in 2013. My results were mostly fitness oriented. I was definitely in very good shape by the time I finished it. I remember taking a Zumba class with a friend during Month 3 of the program and I was astonished at how ridiculously easy the Zumba was - my fitness level had increased so…
  • This thread just totally convinced me to dig out all my old JM videos! I never actually completed a 30 Day Shred, but I think I'll give it a go. To everyone doing 30 Day Shred, do you count 5 or 7 workouts as a "week" before moving onto the next level?
