You may want to increase exercise to account for the extras that you'd be eating and drinking.

First, remind yourself of your goals, both short and long-term. Are you exercising? Are you drinking water? It's probably a good idea to find lower-calorie replacements and have them at the ready. I usually keep vegetables already cut in the fridge to snack on do I don't have to chop. I also don't keep things in the house…

I had to add apples and oatmeal back to my diet because I wasn't going to the bathroom. For whatever reason I don't lose weight unless I'm regular.

I really like broth-based soups with plenty of vegetables and a protein as well as salads with vegetables, black beans, and protein (usually chicken).

I believe I saw that option when I updated my progress.

I keep track of my workouts in a desk calendar. In the last couple months I write what reward I want to give myself for a certain number of workouts. One month it was running shoes, one was a manicure, this month is workout clothes.

I recommend getting in touch with why you want to lose weight in the first place. Tie into a specific goal you'd like to hit and go from there.

I get mine at target and old navy.

He may be feeling intimidated by your potential weight loss. He may be scared that losing weight could mean you want to leave him. Partners get worried when we start to make changes. Have you spoken to him about your feelings?

Hi, everyone! My name is Phyllis. I've been into clean eating for a few years now. I cook the marjority of the food I eat, and am looking for new ideas and inspiration. Take care!

Hi, how are you? I'm with you and completely agree with your sentiment. I have recently loved changing my perspective to focus on the meal in front of me instead of worrying about a whole day. I make decisions to focus on the here and now to avoid feeling overwhelmed. I don't want to wait another moment to be the most…

I've had the most success with staying on track when I focus on why I'm actually doing all of this. I completely recommend focusing on your goals and the reason who have embarked on this journey.

I make it a point to stay away from processed and fast food. If I can't say the ingredients, I assume it's not in my best interest to put it into my body.

I've been pretty frustrated with my lack of results. I just went lower carb and have increased the duration of my workouts and frequency. I'm hoping these changes being about some results. I think my body got used to my regular routine. I'd definitely log all of your food, though.

I sincerely believe that the first step is an emotional one, truly getting in touch with your motivation for change. That's the stuff that we all have to tap into during those tough times.

What do you mean by "need?" If you feel satisfied under the calorie allotment, take the win!

I've been eating clean (for the most part) and exercising for about 3 years. I'm going on vacation in March and have stepped up my game since the holidays are over. I actually clearer out my cabinets of all extra sugar products/white flour/and baking products. I can't give in to cravings if I don't have anything to binge…

We're all in this together. Nothing about this process is easy. I hope we can be helpful for each other. Take care, Phyllis
