I don't eat back my calories. Extra calories available = a win in my book. I'm pretty sure calories left is how we lose weight.
-
I'm not eating sugar, flour, or drinking alcohol until Memorial Day (end of May).
-
I want to lose 30lbs by July.
-
You can totally do it. Figure out what your motivation is and remember it when times get tough.

Journal, take stock of how you're feeling and if eating is going to get you closer to your goals. If you're not actually hungry or needing to eat, go do something else.

I have a zip now and am looking to get a Charge HR once I hit my next weight loss goal.
-
I meal prep, so all my meals are ready to go for the week. I cut vegetables so they're available to me when I want them. I chew fruity gum to deal with any sugar cravings that may come up.

I didn't have any weight loss this week, steady at 265.

I am currently doing a bit of paleo. I'd been eating that way without realizing it, so I've just embraced the name. I'm going try carb cycling, too, and see how that helps. And I'm currently not eating sugar, flour, or drinking alcohol.

All over it...I drank 4 water bottles that were 32 ounces each.

Hi, I'm Phyllis.

Hi, I'm Phyllis. I'm 36 from southern New Jersey. I've been on MFP for a couple years, off and on but have taken logging food and exercise seriously at the end of last year. I am currently 263 pounds, looking to lose 30 pounds by my birthday (July 31st). I'm into clean eating and recently cut out flour, sugar, and alcohol…
-
To me, clean eating is eating food as close as possible to its natural state. I have done this this a little at a time and now I cook just about everything I eat. I avoid frozen, packaged, and fast foods.
-
Definitely customize the serving size to what you actually ate. It'll get easier the more you log your foods.
-
I totally recommend frozen vegetables.
-
1500 seems low. I'd recommend looking into lower calories and negative-calorie foods. There are ways to eat a lot of food without the calories. It's going to take some time, but I'm sure you'll find what works for you.
-
I'd definitely eat more during the beginning of your day. Make sure to stay hydrated, too.
-
I'm into Leslie Sansone and Richard Simmons.

Water, tea, cucumbers...and make sure you're getting credit for all your activity during the day. Housework, cooking, and other things may get you some more food calories if logged correctly.
-
I think we just need to do what's best for us. If you can't do other things, then have the shake or a smoothie.
-
Make sure you have plenty of protein and whole grains in your diet. I go with air popped popcorn with Mrs dash, cucumbers, peppers, or just water at night. I chew fruity gum to fight sugar cravings.

I started drinking muscle milk on my way to the gym after work. It wasn't yummy, but it kept me full.
