  • My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year and still no luck. I've heard weight can be a major strain on fertility so I started MFP so I can lose some weight and see if that doesn't help with conceiving. If not then I will be going in for some fertility testing soon. Best of luck to you with your next IVF!!!!!
  • Flashdance! :)
  • Way To Go!!! I had a moment like this today too! Walked right passed a Charley's Grilled Subs without ordering my favorite Ultimate Club!!!! It was hard but I was proud of myself too! :)
  • I'm the same size as you and I actually wear my regular bra under my sports bra. I dont have any problems running or jumping with that double support :)
  • You shouldn't feel a groggy affect from melatonin. Its a natural sleep aid...something that our body already produces, but some of us just need help regulating it. I started taking it last year and loved it! Its alot better for you than sleeping pills or drugstore meds like tylenol pm or nyquil.
  • I wouldnt say my husband doesnt understand...but he does not have to work as hard as I do and that is a big challenge for me. Seeing him eat pizza & burgers and still lose weight is hard for me but I cant ask him to deny himself just for my needs. He is however encouraging and never trys to tempt me to eat the foods he's…
  • I am an American living in Germany and everything here is measured in kcal, so I just didnt understand if maybe the measurement was off slightly from the American calorie. I think now that I read more that it is the same measurement. Just two different names. Thanks everybody for the help! :)
  • I like the idea of a "cheat meal" instead of a whole day. I wont pretend that I wont fall off the wagon from time to time though...but maybe if I allow myself a good cheat meal every few weeks it will be easier to stick to this! I cant imagine life without some Mcdonalds or a big piece of chocolate cake every now and then…
  • Low fat chocolate milk is NOT a sin! My circuit training instructor says it the best thing to drink after a workout...and I trust her completely! So enjoy some chocolate milk!!! :)
  • Heres the last picture that got cut off. This is where I want to be again...and then surpass!!! :)
  • OK...heres the picture. I was so proud of myself for this!!!! I know I can do it again!!!!
  • Having some trouble posting my picture....can anybody tell me how to do this?
  • Having some trouble posting my picture....can anybody tell me how to do this?
  • Done! Doubled the pushups and added 30 tricep dips! GREAT little workout!!! Thanks for posting! :)
  • You can definitely see the difference but you are amazingly beautiful in both pictures!!!
  • Try the Millstone flavored coffees. I like the Caramel Truffle. Very low in calories (6 oz is only 12 cal) and the flavor is already in the coffee. You can serve them hot or cold. and to make them just a little sweeter I add a few tbsp of fat free hazelnut creamer. Only 25 cal per tbsp. They also make a chocolate velvet…
  • Thanks everybody! Thats a huge worry off my list!
  • I started running last summer. I could barely run a mile when I first started. After several months of training, I successfully finished my first half marathon last fall. So to answer your question...YES it does get better! You cant let yourself get discouraged. You have to be dedicated to raising your endurance. The best…
  • I have a bad knee also. I find that the elliptical is alot easier for me to do than any high impact exercise like running or jump rope, and you can burn a good amount of calories on it if you keep your resistance high. I do still love to run though so when I do I make sure to wear a brace (you can get one at most drug…
  • Thank You! Will do! :)
  • I dont eat out too often but when I do I dont hold back. I'm an American living in Europe and its so hard to not partake in the local cuisine...so when I get the chance to go out, I order whatever I want . I guess that makes it even more important for me to watch my sodium from day to day. :)
  • Thanks everybody! I knew salt wasn't good for your heart but I never realized that so many things had sodium in them. High blood pressure runs in my family so I guess it would be a good idea to cut down on the sodium for that reason as well as to keep the water weight off. My currents sodium goal is 2500 for the day. Is…
  • I also love Nutella. I had no idea it was so low in calories. I usually pass it up at the store because I assumed it was loaded with fat and calories! This is nice to know! :]
  • Dark Chocolate is my FAVORITE! This might be a good idea as long as I can resist eating too much of it. How often do you allow yourself to have it? Everyday?
  • Looking Forward To Trying This!!! Thank You!
  • Thank you all for the advice and encouragement! I'm gonna keep my calorie goal right where it is, but I'm gonna make it a point to exercise more during the week. AND I'll try drinking more water. Hopefully next week I'll show some progress. Thank You again for the kind words everybody!
