Thanks @mmapags. I put "woo" on your explanation just to be funny. But really, I'm glad I found that out. That expression isn't used in my part of Ohio. We would say "hooey" or "malarkey". But I got it now. Glad I wasn't only one to misinterpret that!

The ACV conversation is interesting. I tried it faithfully (long before 2017) for about a month, did NOT decrease my appetite and actually made my stomach burn. And the "woo" conversation is even more interesting to me! To me, it's an enthusiastic cheer! Now I wonder the other connotations of it, because sometimes I post…

I can bearly stand these jokes! OP, have an awesome honeymoon!

I think I am a little like this. Though when I was at my heaviest I didn't see it in the mirror. I thought I looked great! I thought I was fine!

@fiddletime So, will MFP not post a pound loss in the newsfeed if it's above your start weight? (Meaning, I gained, I logged the weight gain; then I lost it?) that lost pound won't post?

It is truly hard to be around food all day. My daughter made s'mores for dessert last night. I had ONE, and there was one left on tray. Everytime I passed by it, I considered eating it... lol! I succeeded at resisting it! But it's funny how I did have one, but never thought, that was enough. I wanted ANOTHER.

I had similar situation as you, where I started at one weight, took a long break, came back to it at higher weight. I did not change weight to the higher weight. Also, though, I only weight myself every two or three weeks because I become obsessed. I could never own a scale.

Something has to give! My workout class is right when we eat dinner. So I cook dinner for my family, my husband comes home from work and I bolt out the door. I can eat dinner later when the kids are in bed. Giving up dinner time seemed crazy 5 years ago! Now it's routine. But you're right, a schedule can literally be too…

You can do it! Go, go, go!

Surround yourself with positive people. Stay away from anyone negative. Can you find an older married couple who fought for their marriage and made it work? Can you spend time with them? That can be such a positive influence on your life. Sounds like the root of the problem isn't emotional eating, but finding peace at…

That sounds amazing! You're set up for success! I can't wait to see how your journey goes. Good luck!

Kathleen, I'd like a link to the challenge, please. I saw the thread about it but couldn't find the group. Thanks! And I'm so happy to find this thread because I want to request friends with all you all! Baby #6 turned 8 months yesterday

I love buffgrl's ideas!!!

I am motivated by food or drinks. Sounds terrible I know, but morning workout, I'm thinking about my yummy protein shake afterwards... then coffee later!!! Evening workout... I'm earning my dinner! And a glass of wine!

On the MFP blog within this app there is a excellent recipe for sweet potato brownies. I am telling you, awesome. High protein, very low sugar.

Thanks for clarifying the kitten thing. I hadn't figured that out yet and today's my 50th day. Hahaha!

Two bites isn't bad! It's better than two slices! Maybe that's the key? When you have a craving, just take two bites? Try it! Let me know

Wow have a fun beach vacation! Sounds great!

It's so hard to get started. My first two weeks were the worst. I think I was truly addicted to some of my food choices. You have a lot of people rooting for you, though! In difficult moments I like to pop onto the forums and read success stories. I find them so inspiring. And really, just try to focus on right now. Not…

You are really well informed! I believe you will accomplish this goal! I'm not sure about the gagging on water, but it sounds like you can trust your aversions. Personally I drink it like crazy, but only with ice. ??

You're doing great!

Good luck, you can do it!!!

Hope you do great this time! I'm still eating all foods, just less. I'm logging all my calories and trying to be active everyday. It's hard to eat less, but I don't do as well with eliminating my favorite foods completely. I tend to binge later in moments of weakness. But I'm only 1.5 months into this, so I am no expert!

It's going to be ok! One day at a time! You can do it! Log all your foods, stick to your plan, it's actually liberating! Eating everything in sight is slavery, not freedom.

Family of 8, $200 (give or take 20) a week. I cook our meals and use all leftovers! LOTS of produce, meat 4x a week for dinner.

It's different for everyone. It's a shame to pick an arbitrary number to stress pregnant moms out about. It's hard enough being pregnant without worrying about weight gain. I say switch doctors to someone who doesn't freak you out about such a silly thing. (Obviously if there are other health issues, I stand corrected!! I…

I used to juice like crazy! I loved it while I did it, I even blogged about it! Lol! But then one day, bam! I had enough! I never juiced again. Also, I tried the vinegar-cayenne pepper-water mixture and I HATED it. Yuck!

Sounds like an awesome plan!
-
Wow that's great! Though I don't like feeling sore!

You can do it!
