Keanna, Well you are taking the right steps by cutting out the soda and junk foods. They are full of calories, but contain almost no nutritional value. My tips are simple: 1) Drink at least 8 glasses of real actual water. Juices, gatorade, and other choices add sugar and calories you just don't need. 2) Try to get 8 hours…

Shiloh, Congratulations on the baby! I have been at this same struggle for about 3 years now. I have had some success, but it sure took a lot of effort. For starters, are you breastfeeding? If so, 1200 isn't enough calories at all. If you haven't seen any weight loss you may want to slowly add 100 to 200 calories of good…

I try the water first. If it doesn't work then I think about the snack I want to determine is it salty or sweet. If it is sweet I pick up an orange or an apple to see if that will kick the urge. If it is salty I will try a salty healthy food. Most of the time it works to end the craving.

Dip chicken in egg and dredge it in parmesan cheese with a little garlic powder for added taste. Fry in a pan with a little EVOO . It is simple and tastes great.

I agree calorie cutting may not be the way to go. If you can honestly say that you are eating good foods then eat away. Ie, if you are choosing an extra fruit of veggie to help your diet improve great go for it. Cutting too much can cause you to feel sluggish and slow your metabolism. Also, make sure you are getting enough…

LB, First, congratulations about taking the first steps by setting actual goals. If you think you need further encouragement try setting a daily goal for yourself. Make it challenging, but possible. Second, chart everything that plays a role in weight loss. I mean everything. All foods, drinks (even water), weight, and…
