If you're weight loss has plateaued, you can try reducing your calories a little. That worked for me. I only decreased my intake by 100 calories when I plateaued, and I began losing weight again. And I have the exact same activity level now as I had when I plateaued.

I'll do this during the day to figure out what I can eat. I follow IIFYM so I just need to see what I can eat and hit my numbers (and calorie goal). A 500 calorie deficit for 7 days would have you losing 1 pound, so I'd say 550 is fine, but it depends on your goals. To safely lose weight, it's recommended to shoot for 1 to 2 pounds per week.

Crunches won't help you lose belly fat, but they can help strengthen your abs and core especially if you do weighted cruches with a dumbbell or plate. To lose belly fat, you need a calorie deficit (and cardio).

Yes, if you stick to the program (Insanity) and make sure to eat at a proper deficit for yourself to lose weight. It is very important to track what you eat. Nice work! I think the problem is just a lack of understanding. Women can't get huge like a guy due to lacking a lot of testosterone and their overall muscle structure. To get huge, you'd need some type of drug.

This reminds me of Chris's mom on Everybody Hates Chris. She loves Chocolate Turtles. Lol. But I feel your pain. There are a lot of cookies, sweets, and snacks in my house just staring me in the face. My weakness can be a double stuffed oreo and it's hard to just eat one.
