Keep up the great work! AF for just over a month now and plan to stay AF Through August. Beginning next month, I'll likely follow your example of limiting consumption to weekends and restricting to non-binge levels.

Just realized today is my half birthday. With my goal of 1.5#/week, this puts me at 39 pounds by February, so this group is perfect! Please add me if you like. I log food regularly and try to be fairly accurate. I don't log exercise, as I like to see my unadjusted calorie consumption vs. my customized goal.

Turning 40 is so 5 years ago. :smiley: 40 was pretty tough for me, as it always seemed like bad things would start happening. But they haven't, and half way to 50 is already upon me with no fear in sight!

Interesting that I stumbled across this thread. Been AF since Sun 7/8. We were on vacation for two weeks in June on a cruise with an all inclusive drinks package, so we took full advantage of it. Knowing we were getting back on the eating healthy wagon, one of the first things I avoid is drinks with calories, so bye bye…

We've experimented a bit with turnips and rutabagas. They have a similar texture to a potato and have been enjoyable roasted with salt and pepper and olive oil as well as diced as hash browns.
