Same issue at my job. I resolved it by not eating it.

Definitely take a break especially if you are early into your running. As you continue it will get easier and you will know your limits better.

You know what fixed my shin splints? Losing 10 pounds. No joke.

Ys here in Mass are much more expensive than a gym.

You make time. I could post my schedule with work and my two year old twins I care for. Irrelevant. You make the time or you don't exercise. I used to say I didn't have the time but I made the time - an hour a day.

4.5 miles on treadmill at 8.5 min/mile. Should have been 6 but someone was waiting for machine.

I don't get the point but respect each persons right to do what they want. Plenty of reads about conditioning your feet over time to do it.

I'm a creature of habit. A slight change to my routine gets me jammed up. I'm in New England so I run indoors for winter and some of fall and spring. When switch from outdoors to in, I take a hit on my distance, pace, etc. Now that I have been indoors for 3 months and am about to switch, the same will happen. Perhaps…

Maybe she's like me and wants to do large burns to pay for a cheat meal. I tend to be conservative with my calculations. For me it would be an 8-9 mile run to burn 1,000 cals.

I love mine. I have the Adidas Smart Run watch. Has HRM built in with no chest strap needed. Also plays music thru blutooth. Love this device but expensive. I think it depends what u do. I run so it is helpful to know when I'm at my max heart rate and when I need to sloe things down. Now that I have dropped weight and have…

1/2 cup of low fat plain yogurt 1/4 cup oj 1/2 cup coconut water not from concentrate 1 cup Wyman's frozen mixed berries with kale Delicious!

Drinks lots of water to help flush out the excess sodium. A cheat meal is always optional. Mine are very much planned - I exercise more that day, drink excess water, and exercise the next day as well. I just had a bar pizza last night and that'd exactly what I did. Ran 4 miles yesterday and ran 5 miles today, okus lots of…

I check their web site or put in the closest match from another restaurant. Its great because it often gets me to rethink my choice. So much is full of sodium.

Maybe an HRM.watch? That is what I use. Very accurate.

I don't cheat but I definitely have high calorie meals on occasion. When I do, I simply burn more calories to 'pay for them'. I jogged 6 miles yesterday so I could have pizza last night. 22 days in and haven't gone over my calorie allowance once, yet I had several bad meals.

Mine is about 190 calories. 1 cup frozen berries with kale 1/4 cup orange juice 1/2 cup coconut water (not from concentrate) 1/2 cup plain fat free yogurt Delicious. I make extra now because my 2 year old loves it

I love using food to motivate me to exercise more.

I always make sure to exercise if I'm going to induldge. I'm running 5-6 miles now and I think it is mostly because I didn't want to give up pizza Saturdays twice a month.

630 is the lowest number I could find based on my weight and how long I ran. Treadmill reported 630. Fitness watch reports 800 (definitely way off; known issues for their calculations) and most online calculators say 700. I think 630 is pretty safe, yeah. Either way, I'm not going to stress if there is a 50 or even…

I use the Adidas Smartrun watch. HR monitor, mp3 player, GPS. Love it. Pricey. Battery life has improved with firmware updates. But I don't run marathons so I'm okay with the 3 or 4 hours I get. I got the speed cell for my shoe so I can log miles when I have to use the treadmill.

When I signed up, moderately active was described as someone who doesn't have a desk job and move around a good amount throughout the day. The next level up described someone like a postal worker or ups driver. But I disagree that the workouts are factored in. I think what's factored in is me.walking around a lot all day…
