Dont beat yourself up, that wont serve to benefit you at all. Walk, walk walk. You'll hurt for a few days, get past it by knowing your just sore, not injured. If you have the patience, weigh everything and count every gram.. of every bite. Lots of water to keep hydrated and keep your brain awake.. you got this !

I've lost 110 eating nearly 1800 cals a day in 18 months, and just started walking for exercise 3 months ago. This 'diet' that was suggested don't sound very healthy.

Good news is, losing weight definitely helps the numbers :) I've dropped 110 so far, 50ish to go. Ive just passed 100+ lost using lower calories, and walking. Walking is primo and only hurts the joints at the end of the day... but it's a good hurt. Hard to explain. Good luck in your journey !! Starting at 2 pounds a week is fine as long as you're not chewing at your fingers :)

Take 30 bucks a month gym money (ymmv) and sock it away, at the end of the year go buy smaller clothes and be happy like me :) No gym for me.

It's true, but just to state the obvious we all have the same 24 hours a day :) Use your 6-8 time to prepare meals in advance, and you may need to go to 9 but just do it. 105 lost in 13 months, but the first 3 or 4 months I barely lost any since I was only sneaking up on eating healthy. I just have a lot of jiggly belly fat I'm working to get rid of, and want a few more inches off everywhere else. So, not done but it's all good. :) Happy days are here

I see now that it starts me out with a greater deficit, expecting that higher activity. That's actually good for me, it makes me want to more quickly 'make up' those calories earlier in my day. Thanks all

Ah, so thats what I figured it compensates by making me get more cals burned to get more added. I like it. And yep, fitbit is calculating for me. I'm in deficit every day, but have gone over my base a few times using that cushion. Thanks
