P90X3 "The Challenge" (pushups and pull ups)

Just try it! Zumba is where I started and it quickly became my soul mate workout. Now I'm obsessed with all types of workouts but Zumba is where it all started. It might not be for you but you'll never know if you don't try!

Lol it makes up for the buttered popcorn in the microwave! Great idea, thanks for sharing. I'm trying to do some small exercises at work. I'm sitting at a desk all day (boo!).

For exercise I do a combo of cardio and strength training. To be more specific I do P90X3. As for the food, eating whole food is best. Watch your calories and remember that you don't have to change your whole diet overnight. It's OK to start with small steps. It also doesn't hurt to have a positive attitude and be patient…

Hello! I'm 27 and trying to get my eating habits under control. What are your goals?

I'd say use that as motivation! Find out what it is in others that you're jealous of and work at achieving it. Also remind yourself of what you love about your own body. I'm sure many people are jealous of you! :)

Welcome and congrats on making the decision to start! I've just recently discovered these message boards and they seem to be full of encouragement. We're all here for you! Remember you can begin with small steps. I've been learning and losing weight for several years now so if you have any questions or just need support,…

What type of foods are you currently eating? You can probably eliminate a little at a time and see major results. I know soda is a big one. I know many people that have lost a few pounds simply by cutting soda out of their diets.

I want one NOW! Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you all for your input. Looks like I have some experimenting to do to find out what works for me but I already feel a million times better having your support. It's nice knowing that other people are going through the same struggles!

I LOVE this! I feel like I have to print it out, frame it and hang it on my wall!

Thanks for the link, I'll definitely have to check it out. I do find myself eating super fast so that could be part of my problem!

Haha I love your story because that's exactly how I feel. Thank you so much for sharing!

I absolutely loved PiYo! Chalene is a very positive trainer, the workouts weren't super long, they were easy to follow, and even had nice background music. Thanks for your words of wisdom. This message board is really helping me! :)

You say you eat most of your calories at night. Have you tried to mix it up and eat a larger breakfast instead? That will give you all day to burn the calories. Also, you may have to experiment with healthy foods and find out if you can replace the junk with something healthy that also helps with the cravings. I believe…

It's always safe to go with whole foods. I highly recommend checking out the Abs Diet. It's not so much a diet as a guide. You'll learn about the 12 powerfoods to incorporate into your diet and why they are good for you.

There's always cheat days which are good for you to have every once in awhile. You've got to get it out of your system before you drive yourself crazy! Also consider cutting back slowly so it's not as much of a shock.

It is overwhelming but the trick is to take it one step at a time. You made the decision to start which is wonderful. Remember that you don't have to change your entire lifestyle overnight. You can start with small modifications and work your way up. Hope that helps!
