21 pounds is a lot! How much are you aiming for in total?
-
You can *always* gain it back, regardless of the method used to remove it in the first place. All it takes is doing the same things that got you overweight in the first place. ;)

Clinical depression is a brain chemistry disorder. It it not 'cured' by losing weight fast or eating less carbs. Millions of people wish it were that simple. Please educate yourself. Both on the subjects of mental *and* physical health. Quick weight loss isn't healthy, advisable or - in the vast majority of cases -…

Leftover pizza the morning after is da bomb.

Oooh, just thought of another one. I used to take 3 (yes, three!) teaspoons of sugar in my coffee back in the day. Gradually replaced the sugar with stevia, but was not fond of the aftertaste and couldn't get around it. So I figured out that 1 stevia packet plus 1/2 teaspoon of real sugar is the perfect combo for me. The…

When I buy stored-baked bread, I have them slice it thinner than standard. Still get my 2 slices per sandwich, but saves on the calories without me missing out on anything.

Then you're not nourishing your body for the level of exercise you're doing. Never a good idea long term. Metabolism is part of the CO in CICO equation. And body type has nothing to do with it. Personally, I eat back about 75% of my exercise calories. I leave the 25% on the table to compensate for weighing/logging…

What is *wrong* with you??? #gummies4ever :D Back on topic: On the rare occasion I eat cereal, I pour my weighed portion into a coffee mug instead of a bowl. Makes the ridiculously small serving size seem a tad more generous and I don't feel as deprived. :)

Carbs have been the devil-du-jour for a while, now. Stick around long enough and the woo-pendulum will swing back around to fats being evil again. :D Bottom line? Calories rule for weight management. As far as macros go, the only one I specifically try to target is protein. The rest fall where they may within the day.

Or just add them to his soup.

The best cure for a cold? About a week. ;)
-
And were they breathing when they left?
-
Yup, now it's the scary toxinz you can't see that are gonna do you in. :D It's actually pretty brilliant. Offer a 'cure' for something you can't see (and doesn't even exist) so that you have to rely on faith (or gullibility?) to use it in the first place and then keep using it to be sure the poisonz are kept at bay.

Replacing the bouillon cubes with bone broth cubes is a good entry-level start. :D Edited to add: There's a local independent family-run grocery store here that I've been going to for ages. They specialize in home-baked goods, produce from local farmers, and a really nice selection of soups and stews - all homemade - sold…

Like nori. <nods>

LOL. I trust you're kidding. ;) I'd rather have a piece of real chocolate or some actual berries for a snack to "Satisfy Cravings and Curb Hunger." :D
-
But it sure sounds damn impressive, doesn't it? :D

Guaranteed to warm you up on a brisk Hallowe'en. Almost as well as @NovusDies ' soup! B)

Giving the gift of music! :D

Glitter. Much cheaper. Sticks around forever. Shows up in the most inconvenient places, too. ;)

Time for some soup!

Kids used to trick-or-treat for Unicef, and carried a little orange box for the coins. Not sure why it was stopped, but it always seemed like a nice thing to do - thinking about others while loading up with goodies for yourself.

Snow blower for the win! I'm 65, in good shape for my age, but just don't enjoy the cold or the risks inherent with shovelling snow. If it's a light snow, I'll just broom it off the walks. Anything deeper than that the snow blower makes mercifully short work of.

I've seen that as well. In the large city where I used to live, some parents would drive their kids to the 'better' neighbourhoods to trick or treat. But the kids were actually walking from house to house while the parents were slowly driving down the street following them. I now live in a small town, and unless the parent…

Nope. Eating too many calories of *anything* can contribute to weight gain. Even fruits and vegetables. And 'healthy' foods, whatever you may consider them to be.
-
Why the goal to lose 10 lbs in 3 weeks to put you at borderline underweight? What you are talking about is unrealistic, unsustainable and unhealthy.

Don't get into the 'dark' side of chiropractic selling all the potions and tinctures. Stay in your legitimate lane. I have used chiropractors for decades, good ones aren't hard to find if you know what to look for. :) Curious as to what your predecessor was doing and how you're changing that.
-
Also curious as to what HS is, and if your celiac disease was self-diagnosed. Not all people that are sensitive to gluten automatically have celiac disease. But if you truly *are* celiac, properly diagnosed, also can't believe you've actually been knowingly eating gluten. #confused

Then just stop asking the questions since this seems to bother you so much? I dunno what else to tell you.

I focus on hitting my protein macro and then pretty much letting the others fall where they may. Within reason. ;)
