Forgive me if this has been answered somewhere upthread, but what is your height, current weight and goal weight?

This. ^^^ <3

Thank you so much for the update! So many times, when the more knowledgeable posters raise red flags on someone's thread, the OP gets defensive, angry, calls everyone bullies or worse and then just disappears. At times like that, I often wonder what eventually happened to them. Most times, we never know. :( The two things…

So, it's not the real you, then? Remind me again what the point of all of this is? I'm confused.
-
Fixed it for you! :D

Caveat lector. PS: Clan of the Cave Bear was freaking awesome!

By "bp" I'm assuming you mean blood pressure?

I do understand that you are just trying to help people. That's wonderful! Perhaps just jumping in on the multitudes of existing threads and questions posted all over the forum might be a better way to share your ideas? :)

How are you measuring your caloric intake? Are you using a food scale? If not, I can highly recommend getting one. Best 20 bucks you'll ever spend on yourself! There are lots of things that can be affecting your lack of results. Here's a chart to help you sort through it. Your answer is in there, I promise! :)

Ah. As to your NEW HEALTH HACKS, I've bolded some of the things you wrote that I'd like to give my thoughts on: Get good sleep, at least 7-8 1/2hrs - between the hours of 10pm and 1am each hour of sleep for the body at these times is worth 2 hours sleep. How the heck does that work, and can you show us the scientific…

Necro thread. ;)

How long have you been doing this?

Getting to the bathroom in time is mine. #oldpeopleproblems :D

FIFY. ;) All successful weight loss methods employ calorie restriction in one way or another. That's just how weight loss works. Many different vehicles, but they all travel on the very same road. And whatever method is chosen will only make a lasting difference if it can be sustained beyond just the losing weight phase…

Yet another bump? An additional 3 years later? What kind of answer are you looking for?

Another one who weighs daily. It's like brushing my teeth - it's just something that I do for myself. Having lost 75 lbs 4 years ago, I have a weight range that I want to stay within. Once you have the knowledge of how (and why) weight can fluctuate from day-to-day without it necessarily meaning you've gained fat, the…

So what are some of your NEW HEALTH HACKS?
-
The answer is: ACV does NOT directly affect weight loss, so... The exception would be if drinking ACV made you so freaking nauseous that food was the last thing you wanted. It would, therefore, decrease your caloric intake resulting in weight loss if sustained over a long enough period of time. :)
-
The only thing drinking ACV made me lose was my will to live. :s

I completely agree that there's no need to take things here to Private Messages, especially since the advice that has been given out in the open has been solid. Many times people with something to sell you use this technique to recruit business. And since soliciting/advertising in the open here is against the rules, they…

The new sugar toxinz buzz will kill you. Instantly. <nods>

Honestly - and this is going to make me sound as old as I am <get off my lawn!> - I can't help but blame the internet for cases like your friend. There is *unlimited* information at our fingertips, but far too many people lack the skill to be able to differentiate the genuine from the bogus. Everyone is looking for the…

The yogurt is a good idea. The bone broth? Not necessary. It's just soup base. Which is delicious but has no other benefits. :)
-
Probiotics are a good idea. As to detoxing, what, exactly do you feel the need to detox *from?* The antibiotics? They aren't toxic. In fact, they appear to have been much needed and very beneficial to you. ;)
-
Before you start making any dramatic changes to your diet, spend the first week just learning how to accurately log what you *currently* eat. That will give you a good baseline to start from. With that data on hand, it will be easier for you to spot what your calorically 'costly' things are in a normal week, and from there…

Know that calories are what counts for weight management. Just because a food is 'healthy' doesn't necessarily mean it will automatically work for weight loss. If you haven't purchased a food scale, I highly recommend it. Best $20 you could ever invest in yourself.
-
No. It makes a sticky mess.

Sounds about as plausible as three-quarters of the other 'truths' that get posted here. Count me in! :D

I rest my case.
