I had the same attitude for several years and that is what led me to quitting so many times. I would fail with one meal, which led me to think I failed the day, and if I failed the day, then I might as well just start over....next week. That way of thinking got me absolutely no where, except adding more weight and feeling…

I will add you too! I am trying to be more involved in the "community" and post a lot on my news feed to hold me accountable. I lost a lot of weight once, and then gained it all back after I quit tracking and holding myself accountable. I am wanting to lose about 55-60 pounds. You can do this!!

@m3eubanks3 I've started over more times than I want to admit. I lose it, gain it back, lose it, gain it back. I am so sick of being in that cycle! Rather than going crazy this time, I am taking it slow. I'm starting with calorie counting and working my way up to the macros. I'm walking every day and working my way up to…

@Versicolour I love those little workouts that are easy to fit into a busy schedule! Every time I get inspired to get healthy, I go at it too much. Huge calorie reduction, really restrict food and 30-60 minute workouts every night. While it works, I seem to get myself overwhelmed and give up quickly. I am trying something…

@cgrout78 I've been trying to figure out how I am going to get all my exercise in once we get our boat - maybe I will just swim a few laps around it to burn some calories!

@billydriskell I love rest days! Today is supposed to be my rest day too (I've had too many of them lately), but I didn't do my arm workout last night, so I might do it tonight.

I am pretty sure my husband just tries to fatten me up. He loves to cook...and I love to eat. I have gained 50 pounds since we have been together! He eats everything and looks amazing. If he wants to lose a few pounds, he just has to look at the treadmill. I have to actually get on it. I struggle with motivation too. I am…

@ma2erin I am right there with you! I hate being an emotional eater. But I am getting better!! @lrw327 I love mini remodels. We are getting ready to work on our camper this weekend. I am sure Thursday will be fine! I have been slacking with my workouts. No excuses except being lazy when I get home. I am working on a new…

I had my weigh-in today and also put measurements in for the first time since October. I had lost weight since last week, so victory there, but my measurements were not fun to put in. I'm not letting it get me down though. Only forward progress from here!

Welcome! I feel you...My weight has been so up and down the last few years and I feel horrible both mentally and physically. So, I am back and ready to work on myself. I have been trying to be more active in the "community" and with those that I am friends with. It seems to help keep me motivated. I will add you!

@cgrout78 I have 5 kids all involved in multiple activities so organization is a must for me. However, I am usually a last minute type party planner and it all works out fine in the end! You got this!! Congrats on the graduation, we've only been through one so far!

Hi All! I am 41, feeling the most out-of-shape and unhealthy that I have felt in my life. I'm trying to get things back on track. I sought help from a nutritionist not long ago, but found it overwhelming. The information I got was helpful and I loved the nutritionist, but I got overwhelmed trying to make sure I ate enough…

@dangerousdumpling I had this problem! When my boss had sent us home to work on March 20th, I had all these grand ideas about how I was going to walk before I started my work, I could walk at lunch. I could eat healthier because I was home to cook. I didn't do any of that! I sat in my chair working all day, ate whatever…

@MostlyWater it was such a part of my daily habit for so long that I didn't even think about it. I just logged my food, knew what to eat and what not to and worked out every day. Then for some reason, I quit...for a long time. Maybe it's because I am older now, I just have a harder time sticking with it. Thank you for the…

Thank you for this! I am hoping to stay serious about this longer than I have the past couple of years. I will try not to get discouraged, knowing fluctuation is normal. What I have to focus on is not giving up at all!

I tried tracking all that once and I just got discouraged. Right now I just want to focus on making sure I track, weight myself and see what works and what doesn't. Then I can dial in on other changes later. Thanks for the advise!

I turned 40 last year and now weight the most I have in my entire life around 205. I few years ago, I weighed about 190 when my husband (at the time) accidentally left a google search up that said "how to convince your wife to lose weight". I was tiny before we had kids and put on more and more after each of my three. I…

I had grand plans to lose weight while I was working from home. I figured I could take breaks and go for walks, walk in the morning before starting work, etc. I was at home so I could eat better. Didn't happen at all!! I gained even more weight. I have around 60 pounds I would like to lose. Feel free to add me!

Thank you! I seem to think of a week as a new beginning rather than each meal. That is helpful. I don't know why when I fail anymore, I just seem to give up. I am going to try harder at that. I am working at pre-planning my meals again. That seemed to help because I am always in a hurry. I already have my breakfast and…

I am there right now. One day a couple years ago, I woke up and decided I was going to change my life and habits. I jumped right in and lost over 30 pounds. I ate right, tracked EVERYTHING, never missed a workout and felt absolutely great. Somewhere along the way, I lost it. I work full time, have 3 busy kids and was…
