Mine seem to peel better better during the cooling stage. If hard boiled eggs goes into refrigerator to use later, I warm them up a bit under hot tap water before peeling. Seems to do the trick for me.

First off, congrats on your weight loss. 45 lbs is and awesome achievement. Be very proud of yourself!! Sweets are tricky lol. I like the fiber one/protein bars to satisfy my sweet tooth. I'm usually over on my sugar if I eat one of these bars because I'm eating fruit as well. Fruit is no comparison to a piece of chocolate…

I only know positive, humor, and encouragement! Lol Feel free to add me

Yes! Definitely worth the trip! I'm Carrie...Feel free to add me. I changed my eating which became a lifestyle change. It still allows me to enjoy the good stuff. I weigh my food and use a heart rate fitness tracker. My food diary is open to friends.

I'm only on MFP and pretty active with the news feed. This was my first time buckling down to lose weight. I lost about 50 lbs (tweaking toward maintenance) and looking to up my exercise . I too switched to a better eating lifestyle that is enjoyable. I plan to keep this weight off for good. Feel free to add me

I just finished Justin Cronin's The Passage and now starting The Twelve. So far, I'm really liking it. I'm looking forward to Duma Key. I hope it becomes available as an audio book with my library soon. It's too hard to read with my 3 year old. lol Thanks for the share @guinevere96 !

Thanks for the share! I cannot freaking wait!! I have such a strong addiction to this show lol.

Starting out, I was a size 14 pants and xl tops). I lost about 30-35 and remember trying on size 10 shorts and they were too loose. (Great surprise in the dressing room!!) I ended up in size 8 shorts and fitting into medium tops. During the size change 14 through 10, I was basically wearing exercise gear with drawl strings…

After a 48 pound loss is when I stopped logging food. Keep in mind, I still wasn't happy with the remaining belly and thigh fat but I felt I needed a break from weighing and logging. So I took a chance. I still weighed myself often enough to make sure things were staying within my 5 lbs range. I felt successful and and…

I'm a 43 year old stay at home mom that has lost 50 lbs. I'm at the tweaking weight stage, now. I changed my eating lifestyle leaning towards healthy because I want to stay fuller for longer, and I want to keep the weight off. However, I still indulge in the good stuff. lol My next goal is weight training. I'm pretty…

Blueberries and whipped cream. Berry & banana smoothie made with almond milk. There was a sale on blueberries lol.

Definitely go get checked out and have tests and bloodwork done. Dizziness is a scary thing and it can be caused by many many things so don't get discouraged on the amount of time it will take to get answers. I had lost 35 lbs when I started with the symptoms of head rush/tingle and my eyesight would blacken out. This…

These aren't recipes but they are my "go to" foods for a sweet tooth. English muffin or whole grain toast with drizzled honey. Lightly salted rice cake drizzled with honey (taste like Honey Smacks cereal). Protein and Fiber One bars (these bars really had kept my sweet cravings in check during my entire weight loss.) As…

You and I almost have the same stats. I'm 5'-6". I started out around 173 lbs. but weighed more the previous years, I'm sure. The only difference is I'm older lol. I definitely do agree it is unhealthy at that weight and this was the reason I wanted to lose the weight. If people are seeing a difference and your clothes are…

I aim for foods that will benefit me and keep me fuller longer. I only had the "hunger" issue when I was following a prepared diet plan. Protein, fats and fiber are the only ones I look at, now. Some examples of what I eat. Breakfast is oatmeal with fruit and nuts/peanut butter or a bran cereal with fruit and milk. Morning…

If it's the healthy part you are having problems with, I mainly look at Calories, Protein, Carbs, Fat and Fiber. This is how I built a healthy diet which is now a lifestyle change for me: Visit websites that offer a list of healthy foods and note the favorites Keep fresh fruit and veggies (or frozen veggies) on hand Cook…

I'm opposite, too. The cold weather comes and I jump right into survival mode. Pack it on for insulation - lol

I love Steak n Shake! I've only had their cheeseburgers and they are pretty good. I'm not fond of their french fries so I can easily avoid those. I only like them if they are topped with the goodness of chili and cheese lol. I never knew they had healthier options. Maybe the oranges and applesauce are on the kid's menu.…

Congratulation on your first day! Back in Feb 2015, I started at 173 and today I'm weighing in at 127. You can do this! Keep true to yourself. If you have a bad day don't let it linger into the next day. My first two months were the big losses so don't get discourage if you have smaller losses for the remainder journey.…

I began by purchasing a little bit of hand weights. If squats and pushups are hard to do, use the wall. If you find a program you like and find a certain exercise too strenuous, search the internet for a modified or a variation form of it. I like to work out right along to video. The sky's the limit with Youtube. Also,…

In my opinion, it's not a magic cure but I would say yes it (your keyword) "aids" in weight loss because it does keep you fuller longer. I have PB&J on fiber bread almost every day for lunch lol. I would always save calorie room for peanut butter as a late night snack and eat it with a couple crackers or an apple. Peanut…

I agree with @emmylootwo on the chips. Also on the opposite issue... I was leveling off my tablespoon of peanut butter for months. Then I decided to weight it one day and, WOW, all those months I was eating under 16g! That just isn't right in so many ways lol

Couscous Patties/Cakes - I make mine similar to the following recipe. Mine has spinach, mozzarella and seasoning although this Pepper Jack one sound delicious since I love spice. I can eat my leftovers cold right out of the refrigerator. I would love to incorporate more fiber into the recipe but not sure how.…

That is great! I love choosing healthier foods. I still indulge in the really really good stuff and may have a bad day with food (like today lol) but the next day I'm right back at it again. It's a lifestyle change that will stick with you forever. I lost 48 pounds by eating less and the healthier foods kept me fuller…

I did the same thing. I tried MFP a few weeks in 2012, I think. But I only logged up until dinner because I was too lazy to figure out the dinner part. lol I started back up in Feb 2015 and gave it my 100%. Glad I did! I made great friends and lost the weight. You can add me if you are looking for a cheer section. Good…

I finally watched all the episodes. This show is sucking me lol. I still think there is a whole world of stupid still going on but then again, I watch way too many survival shows and communication is key;-) I agree with you @_MistahJ_, that house went up really fast. Just how much wine did they have? lol I was really…

My doctor lowered mine to 2000. I'm not a great cook and had trouble with flavoring with herb seasonings unless I followed a recipe. But I can tell you how I lowered sodium in my life. Also, I must say that I love vegetables plain with nothing on it (unless it's a potato). This is what I did: * Found chicken that isn't…

I'm now in maintenance mode but I too changed my eating lifestyle towards more healthier options. I sent you you a FR.

I do the 5lbs range, too. It's a perfect range to keep me from spiraling out of control.

I tried a high protein / low carb diet during the first month and soon realized I don't want to eat like that the rest of my life. I enjoy potatoes, pasta and sandwiches. I just stayed under my calories and when I would eat bread, I aimed for the whole grain to help me reach my fiber goal. What worked for me. Weighing,…
