Ran 3.29 tonight and my April total is 26.5! I'm running my first race tomorrow night! It's just a 5k and I don't expect to place or anything, I'm just excited to get started! Thanks for all your encouragement, everyone!

I finished the 5k program last month and am currently doing the 10k. I love it! I've attempted it several times, but this is the first time I've been really successful.

Monday I attempted to break 4 miles for the first time and was completely unsuccessful. I couldn't breathe from the very start of my run and just felt terrible. I made 1.39 (making my april total 7.3) and keep telling myself running at all is good and it's not a failure, but I keep kicking myself. Oh well, I'll do better…

I have a 48 oz nalgene i take to work with me. I drink one of those during the work day (and I'm a teacher, so if I can do that with only peeing once or twice a day, its completely possible!) and one once I get home. I only drink water though, MAYBE I'll have one cup of coffee a day, but water is it for me.
