I’m 5’1” B) I consider myself small but mighty, and love to lift.

Having first contributed to this thread in 2011, I’m flabbergasted that it’s still kicking! That’s me years back on page 1 as “giggitygoo” ... so weird to be confronted with your 7 years ago face. Talk about a time warp.

What we do in the shadows.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaang. Hawt shoes.

When a pump doesn't reach the bottom of a bottle, making about 15% of the product useless. Animals.

Yep! Hello! There are quite a few of us :)
-
I love this one!

Part of a bird series I shot at the local zoo. x-pro2 + 90mm prime, f2

@RunHardBeStrong These are so great! If you're just starting out with editing, VSCO is a really good/free app based photo editor. The presets are a great way to get started :) I absolutely love the focus you got on those water droplets!
-
Love the long exposures!

This one was shot through the glass of a moving subway car in Tokyo. Part of a "Vending machines of Japan" series. >.< x-Pro2 + 35mm prime, f2

Those macros are sweet!

What a beautiful, soulful dog! Great shot.
-
Sure did! We actually did it in the middle of the night, which was gorgeous. We were completely alone, and it was so eerie, and beautiful. Def want to go back in the day at some point.

This one was taken in an old/famous desert bar here in CA. Fuji x-pro2 + 90mm (again)

We've actually been to the same places (predictably!) Kyoto was my favorite because it reminded me of old Samurai films. I adored the bamboo forest. My favorite adventure would have to be the snow monkey hike in Arashiyama, but you really can't beat the street photography fun in Harajuku. I did all the vending machine…

Birds are such great subjects! Wonderful colors, too.

I have been to Japan 4 times in 2 years, and I swear I was *this* close to grabbing another flight. It's just so great. Italy looks like an absolute dream. I think I might venture to Europe soon as well, but who knows where. Romania is a contender. Really want to see all that medieval architecture.

Rules schmules. Love all of these. Japan has been my favorite photo destination to date, but I have my eye on Vietnam.
-
I also really like this one because I captured it with my iPhone. Really does show that the best camera is always just the one you have on hand. iPhone 8+
-
Love these! Love that lens too. Super wide.

I suppose I'll start! It's so hard to choose a favorite because I'm shooting nearly constantly, but this one I just finished editing, and love. It was taken in Japan earlier this year. I was capturing a series of silhouettes, and this guy made a perfect gesture right as I released the shutter. Camera: Fuji x-pro2 + 90mm…

YES! That sounds SO FUN. I love mustangs, especially the older models. My little car is definitely not fast, but it's a heck of an agility car.
-
The most classic agility car you can get - a Mazda MX5 (Miata.) Adore it.

Real talk: Body dysmorphia is a real d***. Without going as far as arm-chair psychiatrist-ing you, just know that how you are perceiving yourself is not what others see. To me, it appears you have accomplished a very difficult thing, which is body recomp. Who cares what you weigh when you look that much better? If the…

Pssssst. How do you keep track of threads you've posted in now? On the old version of MFP you could just click on your post count, and viola ... all the threads you commented in. Clearly, I've been away for a little bit,
-
It's photography and taking my car out on the track for me.

Forgot to mention that recently I've been sipping on hot broth during the day when I would otherwise be stress-snacking at work. So far, so good! More liquids in my diet and less mindless eating.
