You can use quinoa as a substitute for oats if you want a higher protein option. I use an instant pot, but this seems like recipe pretty close to what I use.

I realize I'm an English teacher nerd, but it just seems like you are a fan of second breakfast without the first one. You know what works, just plan for that so you don't make bad decisions.

Been there done that. Just did it, actually. Time to refocus and get it right. For me, so far today has been a good day.

I'm currently 319. For me that would be ambitious but within the 1% a week. Don't go too fast.

I lost 100 pounds about 3 years ago and then gained it back and am doing it all over again (hopefully for the last time!). You have to be good with yourself for this to work. You can it. It isn't rocket science. More calories out than in. There are lots of good people here to help you with this.
