Hi girls! I'm adding you both :) I'm 27 - started out at 195 last November. Had some ups and downs since then, but just weighed in at 185 this morning! Finally back into a good routine. Ultimate goal is to get back to the 135-140 range by next summer.

Hi! I just discovered the low FODMAP diet and am currently in my second week of the elimination phase. I saw a doctor a few years ago and all she could tell me about my stomach issues was it was "possibly mild IBS and mild lactose intolerance". Since going vegan (eliminating all dairy products) I've noticed a lot of…

Aw that's a bummer about your knee! But definitely best to keep off of it to fully recover and get back on track with the rest of us! Are you allowed to go for walks? You could do a bunch of LISS sessions just to keep moving a bit!

Hey everyone! I'm new to the group. My roommate and I doing BBG together and we are currently on Week 4!! (A little off schedule because of the long 4th of July holiday weekend so we are on day 2 but plan to get it done by Monday when we start Week 5!) :) hope everyone is having a great day!

Aw yay! So exciting!! I've actually taken a break from it for a little while. But I can't wait to hear what you think of it!! Let me know if you have any questions and I can try to help you out.

This is a difference of 2 months (Nov to Jan) and I'm currently 6 weeks into the FBG guide! I've only lost about 5 pounds so far, but feeling way less bloated and so much stronger. Can't wait to see more changes after the next 6 weeks!

All these pictures are SO inspiring!! Way to go, everyone!! I can't wait to add my own before/after once I've reached my goal weight. :)

Very true! I do a lot of different workouts, but I still love to go for a quick power walk - I did 30 minutes this morning and burned about 250 calories. Easy on the knees and still does the job!
-
You can add me too! I'm 26 and have about 50 pounds to lose. Looking for more friends on here to motivate each other. :)

You can add me too - I have 50 pounds to lose! :)

You can do it! Start slow by doing something easy - go for a 20 minute walk before or after work! Just get out there and move. You'll start feeling better and find more motivation within yourself as you go. And we'll be here too :)

Hi! Just joined this group, but I'm a vegan runner! I'll add you :)

I'm currently training for my next half marathon -- Marin County at the end of April. I live on the east coast, but my cousin lives out in San Francisco, so I'll be visiting her and we both will be running the race!!

I'm new to this group too! Looking for more motivational friends :) After college (when I was in shape and felt good about myself), I went straight to law school, where I struggled to find a good routine and then in the last almost 2 years since graduation, I've gained even more weight due to family/job/moving situations.…

Tone It Up has SO many free workouts you can find either on their website or via YouTube. There are videos you can follow along for every body part, total body, HIIT circuits, yoga and stretching. They even put up a weekly schedule on their site every Sunday that you can follow along if you don't know where to start.

I've followed Hal Higdon's plans for all of my races! I've ran 2 full marathons and 3 half marathons. His schedules are so helpful..definitely recommend trying it out! The minimum training time is 3 months, so 5 months should be plenty of time. I'm signed up for one at the end of April. Happy running!!

Happy to see you here!! No problem that you want to lose more...we're all here to help motivate each other to stick to our goals.

If you're resting metabolic rate is estimated to be 1400-1450, you should at least be eating that much each day, regardless of whether you're exercising or not. That number is the amount you need just to fuel your body to function properly. Yes, 1200 is the minimum calories recommended, but realistically I don't think that…

Also - right now I'm currently following Anna Victoria's 12 week Fit Body Guide (very similar to Kayla's BBG) and plan on doing it again once I'm done.. but then I will be starting BBG again with my roommate the first week in June!!
-
Hey! So about a year and a half ago I completed BBG 1.0 and while I only lost a few pounds, I lost over 10 inches on my body!! Here's a before/after pic. (Of course, since then, I've gained the weight back due to a number of reasons - but if I had kept up with working out and eating healthy, I would have maintained the…

I follow the TIU workouts too! :) I'm also trying my best to follow their nutrition plan as well. They have SO many yummy healthy recipes.

I'd love to join the group! I'm 26 and have about 50 pounds to lose. Need a good support group to stay motivated!
-
Hi! I'm not looking to lose that much, only about 50, but I've been vegan for about a year now (vegetarian before that for almost 6 years) - I keep my food diary public if you would like to add me. Feel free to message me as well, I love sharing links to my favorite vegan recipes!

Hi! I'm 26 and have about 50 pounds to lose. Feel free to add me! Maybe we can check in to this thread on Sunday's and see how we've all done in the previous week/get motivation to keep it up the following week! :)

Awesome job! I'm your age too and I recently had the same moment of stepping on the scale and being appalled at the number I saw. Exact same feeling like I got slapped in the face. You've made such amazing progress - I can't wait to be able to share my halfway results too!
